Panic! At The Disco' s 9 Greatest Videos
Brendon Urie isn't just the king of Vine, y'know. Well, he is, but the Panic! At The Disco superstar has got some cracking videos to boot, too. From fancy sparkly jackets, to floral pyjamas, and everything in between, P!ATD have taken on some unbelievable roles for their brilliant videos. Warning: things are about to get pretty, um, odd.
9. But It's Better If You Do
OMG! P!ATD AT A STRIP CLUB! Clearly, for Brendon Urie and co., filming this fantastic video for one of A Fever You Can't Sweat Out's best tunes wasn't too tough of a day in the office, with all those half-naked ladies dancing around. Fair play. Plus, how smooth do the band look with their slicked back hair and bow-ties? THE ABSOLUTE SMOOTHEST.
8. That Green Gentleman
"Things are shaping up to be pretty odd," sings Brendon Urie in the first line of That Green Gentleman, and he ain't lying. Like, seriously. Russian dolls singing the lyrics, the band basically turning into The Borrowers (those really tiny people - Google 'em) and even mini-me versions of Brendon and the gang. S'not exactly conventional, is it? And that's why it rules.
7. Miss Jackson (Feat. LOLO)
What do we have here? Brendon Urie dancing around a Las Vegas parking lot, wearing a sparkly gold jacket? It's a bit weird, but we'll take it. But, wait! What's that going on in the desert? You've chopped a girl's head off and now it's started leaking smoke, Brendon? Rightio, this is too weird now. We're done. Enough's enough.
6. This Is Gospel
You've got feel pretty sorry for ol' Brenny boy in the video for This Is Gospel. He basically just keeps getting poked and prodded at by doctors, and he clearly isn't having the best of times. He even gets opened up, and a whole reel of rope is yanked out of his chest. Yikes. Not even some Rennie is gonna sort that out.
5. The Ballad Of Mona Lisa
Not for the first time in Panic! At The Disco's music video career (hello, I Write Sins Not Tragedies) the guys get kitted up in fancy top hats and plenty o' eyeliner, and prance around a house for a while. There's more to it than that, obviously, but we were too busy gasping at what the note in dead-Brendon's pocket said to really focus on that.
4. New Perspective
Who'da thunk that watching two dudes stroll around a school for a little while would be so captivating? Okay, maybe we were staring because Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried keep popping up doing weird things all over the place (this track was taken from the Jennifer's Body soundtrack, after all). Things get a bit gnarly, but Panic! appear to come out of the whole pallava mostly unscathed. Either way, we approve.
3. Nine In The Afternoon
P!ATD WEARING FAKE MOUSTACHES! P!ATD IN THEIR PYJAMAS! P!ATD WITH THEIR FETCHING SWEATER-VESTS! Nine In The Afternoon is basically full of ridiculously awesome costumes, and that's before we even mention those outrageous zoo-animal head things. Think you can out-eccentric Brendon Urie's outfits? You're wrong. So very, very wrong.
2. Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can...
People walking around with actual fish tanks on their heads? With tiny fishes in, too? Sure. Because, like, why wouldn’t you do that? There are probably all sorts of hidden meanings in the craziness that is Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off, but we were too busy holding our breath to really take it all in. *Chokes*
1. I Write Sins Not Tragedies
There was only ever going to be one winner, wasn't there? Panic! At The Disco basically hang out at the worst wedding day ever. From the groom's bride being a, um, you-know-what, to some creepy make-up jobs and mad circus outfits, I Write Sins Not Tragedies has got it all. It's one of the most badass songs Panic! ever wrote, too, which helps. Top marks all round, lads.
