Courage My Love are premiering their new video, Need Someone, exclusively with Kerrang!
The track is lifted from their album, Synesthesia, which is due for release in Europe on May 19 through Warner Music. Pre-orders for the record are available from clicking on the following link.
Talking about the track, the band commented: “Need Someone is a song that means a lot to the 3 of us for different reasons. It’s really close to our hearts, and I think the message is very relatable to a lot of people. We’ve all tried to be there for someone who doesn’t value you the way you value them. We’ve all seen ourselves through someone else’s eyes and let their perception of us tarnish the way we see ourselves. We all know the pain of allowing ourselves to be vulnerable to someone, and not receiving the same in return.”
“That being said, we wanted the video to show a different side of us to our fans. We wanted to be very raw and vulnerable, human. It’s unlike anything we’ve ever done on screen before. The experience of getting to a place where you cry on camera, knowing that people you’ve never met are going to be watching, was very surreal and scary, but it felt right for this song.
Our intention was to show our human, tangible side and in a way invite whoever is watching into our heads. The message of the video is to learn to love yourself, regardless of the way others treat you.”
