Architects share footage of their astonishing circle-pits at Hellfest

Fresh from their main stage triumph at Download a week ago, Architects are continuing to prove what an incredible live force they’ve become with an epic clip from France’s Hellfest.

On the opening day of the huge Clisson event on June 15, the Brighton metal heroes were subbing to Parkway Drive on the second stage – and they definitely got things suitably warmed up for their Aussie pals’ headlining slot soon after.

Frontman Sam Carter has shared some absolutely astonishing footage of their circle-pits during when we were young, introducing the single by yelling at the crowd: “Harder! Faster! Stronger! For fucking Daft Punk, now we’re fucking talking. Let’s cook. Now it’s time to spin, motherfuckers!”

In our review of Architects at Download Festival last Friday, we praised the band for playing “just over an hour of songs that never fail to hit like a wrecking ball”, and said that it was “possible to forget this is Architects sub-headlining a festival, not playing a show all of their own. It definitely won’t take another decade before they’re back here again – and maybe even a rank above where they are now.”
