Metallica have announced details of a very special, K!-sponsored show in London this summer as part of their 'Sick Of The Studio Tour '07'.
They will play Wembley Stadium on July 8 with very special guests to be announced soon.
"The shows we did last year were so much fun," says drummer Lars Ulrich. "We wanted to do it again this year, but play the countries we didn't last time but with one exception. We had to play England again!"
The Californian metallers entered a Los Angeles studio last week with producer Rick Rubin to record the follow-up to 2003's 'St Anger'.
"The vibe in the band couldn't be better at the moment," reveals Ulrich. "If you were to be around us you'd fucking puke. That's how good it is! The band is in a great place. We can't believe how fortunate we are. Basically, when we're not together we're spending our time texting each other saying, 'I can't believe how amazing these new songs are!'. I think people would be very surprised at the amount of love that exists in the Metallica camp."
