The Future - featuring former members of Bridgend post-hardcore mob Hondo Maclean - and rising Derby rockers LostAlone have signed up to appear at Klub Kerrang! on May 19.
"We have been writing and recording our new material for over a year now and are champing at the bit to play it live," says keyboard player Andy Davies. "We've all grown up a hell of a lot over the last year, and with our new attitude, new sound and new personnel, a new name seemed the most logical move. The sound of The Future is extremely epic in scope and sound, drenched in melody and with a large side-order of aggression!"
The night will include resident DJs James Sherry and Emma Johnston spinning the hottest tracks, and Zac Slack from Crossfire, the London-based skate collective, unleashing a volley of punk tunes in the top room. If that wasn't enough, there will be plentiful drinks promotions to ensure everyone remains refreshed throughout the night.
"Being away has created an air of excitement about the prospect of returning home especially as it will be our first show since our debut record was released," says LostAlone frontman Steven Battelle. "I, for one, can't think of a better way than laying waste to Koko in the name of Kerrang!."
