Angels And Airwaves bassist Ryan Sinn has left the band. Sinn, who joined the band for their 2006 release 'We Don't Need To Whisper', has confirmed rumours of his departure in a post on the band's official fansite, www.thearmyofangels.com.
"I received a phone call the evening of April 19 that concluded my relationship with Angels And Airwaves," says Sinn. "I could go into an entire novel about my opinions of the whole matter and why I was given the axe, but to me, throwing dirt just seems desperate. All I'll say as to why I was kicked out, the reasons I was given weren't at all honest, and severely hypocritical to the point of abhorrent disgust."
The bassist hints at the possibility that he'll be releasing some new material in the near future.
"What matters to me now is freedom," he says. "Freedom to express myself and the freedom to be exactly who I am. Music to me has always been a very dear thing. An outlet of creation, frustration, desire, love, pain, and expression of all kinds. It's something that I feel you should do your best at. See you again somewhere, sometime."
At the time of going to press, there was no word on who will replace Sinn in the band's line-up.
Angels And Airwaves will play the London Astoria on August 24.
