Biffy ink US deal

Biffy Clyro have signed a US deal with Roadrunner, who will release 'Puzzle' in the autumn.

"There was an option to go with Warners, but we'd be one of 1,000 rock bands they have over there," says Simon Neil. "Roadrunner loved the record and they're not expecting us to explode right away. We'll be in a unique situation on the label, because it's primarily metal and we'll stand out. We're going to tour there for six months and put the hours in.

"I think we're going to have problems in America because of our name," laughs Neil. "I think a Biffy is like a Portaloo. And our accents will do their heads in."

'Puzzle' will be released in the UK on June 4 through 14th Floor. Biffy Clyro will play the Download festival, see Gigs for details.

Thats so great for them :)

But as they said, who wants a fan who judges a band on it's name. All they have to do is let the music speak for itself.

MON THE BIFFY!
