Where's the classics? ACDC, Metallica, Ozzy? Get some articles on the past of the rock music as well as it's future! Maybe this generations listeners need to broaden their minds into where we've come from as well as where we're going.
I'm only 18 but I LOVE the old stuff as well as the new!

So what do we reckon Tom de Longe et al have got in store for us? "Fantastically ambitious", "what I'm getting ready to do involves an incredible amount of investment in technology". the article in this weeks issue about paramore is absolutly horrible. the writer completely mis represented the entire band. in my opinon a huge apology needs to happen here. i've read countless times in this magazine how much you all love paramore, how could you let such a hateful article be printed?

RIGHT! every week since i have subscribed to kerrang! i have got it on the same day as it's out in the shops-wednesday. HOWEVER, imagine my horror when i gleefully leaped to my letter box this morning and discovered a pathetic excuse for a leaflet about windows or something. i didn't even read it i was so annoyed! i have waited an entire week for the new issue with paramore in it! last night i went upstairs humming away thinking it was only a matter of hours until i could recieve my latest Used poster, and read about Paramore and Marilyn Manson, but alas, it seems the postal service standards of wilshire are slipping. and i am appalled that i am forced to wait GOD KNOWS how many days until i can familiarise myself with the welcoming scent of decent music, reviews, and posters. And has anyone else noticed the marvellous state of gerard way's hair lately?! it's messy[ish] again, its long[er] and its bloody gorgeous. i beg you for a sexy poster deaturing this soon! who knows it may be already in this week's issue BUT I WONT KNOW UNTIL ANOTHER DAY. bloody annoying. all my love!! angered kerrang!devotee. i'm hoping that made sence. Erm yeh, I went to that Mean Fiddler gig and I'd like to tell you that it was sold out completely, as did their gig at Underworld (in 20 minutes I might add). They have sold 42,000 copies of their CD over here and 95,000 in America. K? So, shut the fuck up because you don't know what you're talking about, clearly. And also, I have no respect for someone who would use a persons religion as an insult to them. Those 'Christian numnuts', as you so elegantly put it, are doing better in their life than you could ever do.

as for paramore their not my cup of tea for sure, but they ob have fans so everyone stop bitching. As for people complaining about the article. Tom Bryant is a fucking great writer (i enjoy his style of writing and used some of his work in an essay i wrote for for my degree in Music Journalism. Best. Course. Ever.) Maybe the constant references to the accent were a bit unfair but the job of a journalist is to get a story, Tom had to ask the right questions to get the responses he did get. He can only call it like he saw it. As for those who mentioned slander? go home, there wasn't anything accusitory in the article at all, unless you are all homophobic?

Army of Freshmen are a rock, power pop,pop punk band from ventura california. The have toured the uk numerous times and have got 3 albums and a uk only release ep. They have vocals from Jaret Reddick of Bowling for soup on a few tracks and he aslo helped to produce the uk only ep. When they play they rock out the set, Such energy on stage. And afterwards, they always comes staright out and meet the fans, they stand there for hours signing things and having photos taken. They are the band that has tried and put all the effort in. Not like, for example panic at the disco, got one lucky break and treat their fans like shit! Army Of Freshmen are not like that!!! so please Put them in Kerrange. I'll actually buy it and ask all my friends to as a new one gets into them every day!

A few issues ago you guys reviewed Dir En Grey's album "The Marrow of the Bone". I was over the moon because of the fact that you guys had actually recognised (finally) a pretty well known J-rock band which so many people love here in the UK (even if the review wasn't completely agreeable with...i mean what the hell was this rubbish about them being "pop wannabes"?!??! you guys obviously haven't listened to them properly), but I haven't seen or heard anything further in Kerrang! since then. I mean, you guys even failed to mention that they're coming to England in August and playing 2 live shows (they were originally just doing one, but because of high demand and cuase they're first gig sold out after like 6 minutes on the web they decided to play on another day too)!!!

I just hope that when it does come to their live, you guys take plenty of pictures and put them in Kerrang! You will be immensely loved if you do!!!

i adore this band with 99% of my heart, and do you know what annoys me SO very much!? when people who dont like them and bands who they perceive to be similar seem to think that it is only "kids" who are fans, and that they are only idolised because they are 'in fashion' and trendy. I didnt actually realise MCR were a COOL band to like! when i started liking them they certainly werent! people i asked hadnt even heard of them! and i can tell you this for free, im not going to stop appreciating the music that appeals to me most becuase they develop a larger fanbase than they previously had. Bands get publicised, the most liked ones become popular, and in MCR's case it is most commonly for the reason that they are going AGAINST the cool stereotypes, they are five people that anyone of ANY age can look up to, and listen to. Fine, not everyone is going to like them, that is obvious, its natural, but please dont assume its only "kids", (which technically is a baby goat) because i think music of any genre can be helpful to any age. and it evidently is, if you attend any my chemical romance gig, there are grannies lining up for a go in the circle pit! ok not quite but seriously, its not just 13 year olds. It seems unfair to say that Paramore is Hayleys' band i agree. But then every front man (or woman) is normally the main person who people most recognise the bands from. So if Hayley did leave the band then it would be an impact as the band won't be the same as the singer has changed. Normally people listen to a band, first o their singing, then thier composition of guitars, bass and drums. Its the same with any other band, it isn't necessarily the singers band, just they play a biger part in it then the others.

tbh, i personlly dont like the bands of the sort of style as fob,patd and mcr, however i canunderstand why a magazine, which is aimed a a teenage audience, would, do stories on the bands, that are selling the most albums, just because you think a band is good, dosent mean everyone else does

On the note of the paramore interview
it was very harsh, but it's journalim, it isnt designed to be nice, its designed to get the facts, however if hayley williams was personally offended, it should be rectified

Lastly, the issues could do with more in depth reviewing and also, a wider range of bands, I Personally prefer metal music, which is inceasingly not shown in the magazine, however i undertand many do not, however there needs to be a fair mix, with something for everyone
