My Chem and Biffy join Muse

Muse have confirmed some very special guests for their Wembley Stadium shows in June.

The band, who have just returned from a US tour, will be joined on Sunday, June 17 by My Chemical Romance and Biffy Clyro.

Support for their Saturday, June 16 show will be less rocktacular The Streets and Rodrigo Y Gabriella.

Surely the Saturday gig should have the bigger line-up, as it was, and should still be, the main gig?

because we ALL know that the people going on saturday are the hardcore elite of muse fans and therefore deserve the BEST because they were lucky enough to be the 25,000+ people out of, what, a few million? that were fast enough to get tickets.

you're no more elite or deserving than those going on sunday.

"main gig?" its JUST a gig, they're both the SAME gig, just for TWO audiences because Muse have that many fans.

and the sunday gets the better line up so that all the "hardcore" muse fans going on the sunday, who obviously AREN'T hardcore muse fans, at least get compensation for putting up with people like you saying "har i'm going on the saturday how hardcore am i"

give it a rest.

Who goes for the shitty support band? Who you're probably going to forget about when MUSE are on stage and playing that MEATY riff in 'Knights Of Cydonia' or that epic drumming in 'Assasin' or the /legenday/ 'Stockholm Syndrome'.

Have just listened to Rodrigo y Gabriela and they are AMAZING, they blow MCR out of the water. So I for one will be looking forward to them on the saturday, now has anyone got plans to kill Mike Skinner ;-) Oh well, I al going BOTH days so will see all. And don't forget they have said that is not the complete lineup, so they could be holding someone really big uo their sleeve for the saturday. Kasabian aren't busy that day, nor are NIN!!

The bands announced today are the main support, so I don't think NIN or Kasabian will be announced.

I managed to snag some good seated tickets on Christmas Day for the Saturday, which I'm really pleased about.

And yeah, Rodrigo y Gabriela are really good. I'm just pissed that The Streets are there. I mean, it was bad enough going to see Feeder and having to put up with Goldie Lookin' Chain.

The Saturday sold out so quick i couldnt get a ticket. I like rodrigo Y Gabriela. however, for all those who only bought muse tickets to sell on ebay - HOPE YOU STILL HAVE THEM AND CANT SELL THEM ON !!

Yeah man, fair enough. When I first saw that mcr and biffy were supporting, I got really excited though. And then once I realised that I had tix for the wrong day I went into a small pit of despair. Less of a pit and more of a shallow indent in the earth, let's say. Cause, really, Muse rock the eff out of them all, so that's what counts. But Biffy are right up there in my estimation. Saw them at truckfest 2 years ago and at the roundhouse the other night and they are such solid players. Songs as tight as eff.

But back to the point - Muse rule all. Saw them at Jools a few months ago and walked right by Matt. Guy looks like he weighs in at about 7 stone and has the vocals of a demi-god. Belts stuff out like you can't believe. They are such amazing musicians. The drums, bass, guitars and vocals all really effing fantastiche. Three-pieces always have a special place in my heart due to the amount of skill packed into a small number.
