Read most of the pro mcr comments on this article, all along the lines of 'omg!!!! mcr r da Best!! i luv yoo xx!!' and similar shite, seems to me like it was written by 15 year old girls.

really kerrang!, how many times are my chemical romance going to be cover 'stars' this year?? i understand that they are popular and thus sell issues, and i also understand that they are not an entirely dreadful band, but unless kerrang is planning to rename itself "MCR weekly" or something of that sort, the band could occasionally be substituted for some other well deserving band in your magazine, namely AFI! after there utterly amazing performance at Give it a name this year and as the writers of some of the best albums that this century has seen (namely sing the sorrow, black sails in the sunset) they should be mentioned slightly more!!
oh and any articles on them would be much more appreciated if they held correct information..... the chorus in a single second is not three layers of daveys vocals, but vocals from both Mr Havok and Nick 13 from tiger army!!

But seriously they do seem to be everywhere at the moment and specially in your magazine how bout going for a couple of weeks without mentioning them, because its just getting out of hand really. There music is good, and they are well known everywhere so you really dont need to print something about them everyweek its not like any one will forget them.

Looks like you guys are out of ideas of whom to put on the cover of the issue! Hell, you mention loads of bands but fail to realise dat you can actually vary the covers instead of sticking 'safe' with MCR (i like them but am getting quite tired...do you know the black parade is nearly a year old now???!!!!) ?? i dont think you did Machine Head on cover despite their recent GREAT success with their latest album. i noticed as i considered buying this weeks kerrang that the decent posters, once again, were back to back. wouldn't it make sense to, instead of putting a machine head poster and an iron maiden poster back to back, point in that. maybe putting a metal band on one side and an emo band on the other would make more sense? that way the metalheads think " yass a machine head poster, and an Iron maiden poster, AND a Lamb of god poster" and the emos think "yay! posters of sexy emo bands" and then everyone's happy!
would it be possible to get some heavier bands mentioned. like back in the days when varg vikernies was on the front cover of kerrang. if it'd be possible could we get a week of all metal posters like ages ago, with the Dimebag poster when he's on the front of a pickup truck? and the kerry king poster with his awesome shinpads!

Hey K!, I'm kinda getting fed up of hearing about MCR, everytime they do a little something, they're in the mag, I know they are a popular band, but surely, if people wanted to know if anything major has happened, they'd look it up on MCR's myspace or site, you must have other bands to write about other than MCR just because they are popular. It just makes K! more and more boring to read each week to be honest. On a more positive note, it's nice to see Silverstein in K!, and the stickers are awesome, so thanks for that, I wouldn't mind seeing Bring Me The Horizon in K! a bit more, a massive poster of them would be great, because for saying they did win best british newcomer one year, there hasn't been many posters of them. So yeah, I was just voicing my opinion on K! this week, because that's what this forum is for, right?, so thanks again for the stickers, and one day, I'd like to open a K! mag without seeing the words 'my chemical romance' inside. My Chem Are Awsome For The Following Reasons:

1) They're an inspiration to many bands, i.e. Panic! At The Disco.

2) They give every live show everything they've got. 100%.

3) They spend money on live shows to give the fans the best possible experience ever. i.e. You've all seen the fire and the ticket tape flying everywhere.

And how do you repay them. By bottling them at Download.

Erm... I've just had a look through all my copies of Kerrang! this year. I have every one.

Everyone is moaning that MCR are always on the cover but, actually, this is only the second time they've been on the cover with a big feature inside this year. I've checked.

There are much better bands inside that would attract real proper rockers to buy it. Some people just dont bother to look whats inside. that nearly everything is being labelled as "emo" nowadays. Does it really matter what genre bands are as long as the make good music. I personally love both My Chemical Romance and Trivium, who are totally different. Ive been to see both bands live and both put on a show. People that call other bands and people emo obviously have no other way of describing a band that they personally dont like. I think that it is ignorance on peoples behalf to not see how so called "emo" bands affect people's life.

Hell yeah! Marlilyn Manson sings about random crapness, while My Chemical Romance sing about meaningful things. When I listened to cancer, I realised how bad my Friends mum was feeling. For three years, knowing she was going to die of cancer, hense the lyrics "..counting down days the go, it just ain't living.." I cried when I heard it. :( She died a week later, when I first heard that song. :( waaaaaa. At least she's out of pain.

With thier huge Wembley Stadium gig coming up, why aren't the seventh highest selling band of all time on the cover of Kerrang. MCR are nowhere near as popular as Metallica. Metallica are drawing close to 85,000 people to Wembley Stadium. MCR aren't, as good as they are, they are no Metallica.

Hey, I like Maiden as much as the next person, before anyone jumps on my back, but aren't MCR currently worshipped all over the world? Hence the emo fangasms and magazine covers and annoying commercial interest?

My point being: MCR are probably at the same level of fame (I'm saying nothing about quality, longevity etc. just fame) right now as Iron Maiden. That is, most people have heard of Iron Maiden, most people have heard of My Chemical Romance.

I love MCR and I only buy K! when they're in it. For most other bands I like, I buy Metal Hammer cos they pop up in it more often. I suggest you whining eejits do the same and shut up. Though even if they were similar in the slightest way, the quality of their songs are on a completely different level. So where are you getting this shit from?
