I Am Ghost: Kerith quits

I Am Ghost violinist/singer Kerith Telestai has quit the band, citing persistent health problems.

"The past two years with I Am Ghost have been inexplicably amazing," says Kerith. "After weeks of pondering I have come to the conclusion that the band's current lifestyle is incompatible with my health needs. But I don't have a disease or a serious health condition, and I'm not pregnant either!"

Her husband, bassist Brian, is said to be leaving the band at the end of their August dates in the US with Aiden and From Autumn To Ashes.

Brian and Kerith, you'll be missed!
I met you guys at Birmingham Academy on Kerrang! Tour. You're both such cool people and I really hope this won't be the end of I Am Ghost!

I havn't really heard much news from IAG since I deleted them from my myspace friends list for waaay too many bulletins (lol). Noooo not Kerith! She has such a great singing voice and Brina does Bass AND keyboards! I hope IAG find new replacments for them ASAP!

Its a shame I met these guys at the bloomsbury bowling lanes when they were supporting the audition and we just sat talking about music for hours, they were genuinely interested in what I had to say, so it sucks that they are leaving but if you gotta go then you gotta go

How can kerith leave. I AM GHOST is one of my favourite bands EVER. It just won't be the same without Kerith.

I hope that I AM GHOST can carry on without them. My life aint worth living without I AM GHOST, but i'm sure the guys can pull through this break up and we'll hear from kerith and Brain again in the future.
