Linkin Park stalker arrested

A 28-year-old female Linkin Park fan has appeared before courts in New Mexico after pleading guilty to stalking frontman Chester Bennington and his family.

Former laboratory worker Devon Townsend (no, not the Strapping Young Lad frontman), faces up to five years in prison and fines of $250,000 - for each count of stalking and 'unlawful access to stored communications'. She hacked into the singer's email accounts, phone records and downloaded personal photos.

"On at least one occasion, knowing that Chester Bennington was in Arizona, I travelled to Arizona solely for the purpose of trying to see him," admitted Townsend. "While I was there, I monitored Chester Bennington's voicemails as a means of trying to locate where he might be eating dinner or lunch."

So far, there has been no comment from the band. Probably hiding under a table, then.

at least she's caught Chester can move on and feel normal again but i feel sorry for him like when i heard i was fucking terrified ! Imagine how Chester felt !

As a stalker and a Linkin Park fan I'm devastated that such harsh actions are being taken against Devon. I used to steal Michael Barrymore's clothes from his line and as punishment I was forced to listen to metallica's new single on repeat. I chewed off my own ears after 15 minutes. Tragic.

Being a fan of a band is one thing but this is nuts , she is obviously nutz, so well done Chester , No one should be messed around with like that ! Especialy hacking in to his private stuff.
