Rob Covallo (producer of Black Parade) played keyboard on the record then MCR got James Dewees from Reggie And Full Effect to play for them on tour. Gah some poeple should really read what it actually says.
gerard way, mikey way, frank iero, bob bryar and ray toro make the best band ever i know they beet marilyn manson and fall out boy by 200% out of 100% they're the the best band ever!!!!

I have read this article and Reggie haven't broken up!, they posted new songs on their myspace, I know that to most MCR scene kids Reggie will be irrelevant and as far as I am concerned they can keep wandering the streets in black parade hoodies blissfully unaware of real "emo" like the get up kids and reggie and the full effect. For all you guys who dig Reggie they havent split up they're still good

why talk like that? that's not how you were educated to talk!
it's not 'easier' or even 'quicker' it's just fucking annoying. every time someone uses it it's like trying to figure out a code. what happened to people talking properly in the world? now it's just gone to pot, on a text, 'txt tlk' is sometimes neccessary if you only have a limited amount of characters to use, or you're in a real hurry. but on the internet it's just retarded to be perfectly honest.
but yeh it's nice to see that people haven't posted anything else about Reggie splitting up since my explanatory post. :)
I know the keyboardist personally that quit before they hired the guy they have now. His name is Eric Hinojosa. He left in late Feb. or March. He has toured with the Sigur Ros, Rolling Stones, Jackson Browne, etc. He said he liked the band members and will miss Gway and Mikey but felt it was a bit of a unfufilling for him. He has now been working with Nigel Godrich, Jonny Greenwood and old touring friends Sigur Ros. Which probably explains the rest.

Indeed, this guy has had the pleasure of touring with sigur ros...which says it all really, sigur ros are a pretty talented lot. Live they are simply the best act iv ever seen.
I can see why he may have left reggie, but o well, this is a clear sign that not all musicians have bank account thats big enough for everyone to swim in.
Actually, Eric is not this guy they are writing about. He is a guy that left MCR keyboard job after six months to pursue a more honest direction. Lucky for him he is in great demand to leave MCR. Those bands listed above mention just that. Last I heard he was happy for their success and happier to not be part of it.

Well I mean, The keyboardist isn't essential to the band... I mean they rock on their own, but I went to see them on their black parade tour.
The guys respect him and he respects them, plus he does do pretty well for the whole Black Parade theme. And anyway on stage at gigs, people are going to be focusing on the band and having a great time, so it doesn't really matter that they've got a full time keyboardist.
Hope he does well with the band

I don't honestly know why people get into such big dilemmas over this. Everyone has their own opinion, get over it. I personally think that MCR is a great band because they started from scratch. They have respect for other people different from themselves, so you should give an effort to respect them as well.

look. the keyboardist, is in the band, but isnt a huge part like the others. ive liked them since i hear i'm not okay. but if u look on their website, and on band, it doesnt show the keyboardist. so the keyboardist isnt a great part in the band. but still, if u dint know they had one, then its r8. because ure not going to stare at the tv or whatever and look for a keyboardist are you? jesus.

Just as a recap for everyone as some people seem to have forgotten the facts.
MCR is: Gerard Way, Mikey Way (currently on a break from the band so he can be with his WIFE-not a hubby as said above), Frank Iero, Ray Toro and Bob Bryar.
The keyboardist only tours with them and plays with them for The Black Parade and he quit this Reggie band not My Chem.
So that's that NO MORE ARGUING PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

Let's all just stop bashing. First off, gay isn't bad. I wish people would stop that. Where I come from, people get beat up for being called gay. Just because someone is fifteen doesn't mean that they're stupid. We were all fifteen once, unless we aren't fifteen yet. There is nothing wrong with emo bangs. They are a little silly, but to each his/her own. Emo people can be very nice, so lay off. Drugs are bad, we all know that. Look what happened to Gerard. Getting laid, be careful with, but I can't exactly censor that out.
Also for the record, the keyboardist is leaving Reggie, not MCR.
Not all of us knew that there was a keyboardist: that's fine. Not all of us have been able to go to MCR concerts recently. The last time I saw them was when they were with Green Day. And I had to go pretty damn far to see them too.
So let's all chill and stop making fun of each other/bashing. Hmm?
Let's all be adult about this. Even though it's fun to be a kid, there's a time and place.

Lay off. By the way; some of us are very intelligent. You seem to think that because someone talks in IM speak, they are dumb, this isn't true. Many are just lazy, like all teenagers. So lay off, and stop being mean. I hate people who judge an entire group based on a few. Stop! Not everyone who listens to MCR has a problem.
