Against Me! frontman arrested

Against Me! singer Tom Gabel was arrested on August 13 in Florida on charge of battery.

According to reports in the 'Tallahassee Democrat', the frontman was detained after "smashing a man's head against the counter of a coffee shop".

A dispute arose in the shop when the singer spotted a defaced article about his own band hanging on display. Following an exchange of words with patron Jared Smith, Gabel allegedly knocked a cup from Smith's hand and pushed his head onto the counter. Smith claims he was left "more upset and scared than hurt", meanwhile Gabel denies hitting the patron.

The singer was subsequently released on $500 bail.

fair enough though eh , he didn't exactly murder the guy.
