System men unveil new band

System Of A Down guitarist/vocalist Daron Malakian has formed a new band called Scars On Broadway.

Teaming up with drummer John Dolmayan, the two look set to have music ready for consumption soon.

"We are preparing to go into the studio really soon to record our debut album," says Malakian on the band's official site. "John and I are really excited about this new project and can't wait to get on stage and perform live for you guys. I know it looks like they're done for now, but remember they're only on Temporary Hiatus so they could well re-form in future like RATM recently did! =D

I'm just being optimistic cos I love SOAD but don't get me wrong I do like what each of the members is up to.

Yeah, no one knows if System are making another album or not... Cannot wait for this, as well as hearing Serj's abum and seeing Serj when he supports the Foo Fighters.
