Korn have announced details of a full UK tour in January 2008, we can exclusively reveal.
The nu-metal icons have spent their summer trekking around the States on their infamous Family Values tour and are now ready to give something back to the UK fans.
"We haven't done a proper headlining tour in the UK and Europe in almost seven years," says singer Jonathan Davis. "We've just been coming over and playing festivals or one-offs and then flying home, so we're real excited to come and play some other places in the UK other than London.
"We really want to take care of the fans out there," he adds. "If they want to see us, it's not fair for them to have to drive from all over the UK to come to London to see us. I can't wait, because I haven't been to any of those other cities for a long time."
Davis also reckons the band are now old enough to value Europe in a way they
didn't before.
"Back in the early days of the band, we were young kids, and we were stupid saying that we hated Europe when we didn't really know how to appreciate it," says the singer. "Now we know that the fans there are absolutely amazing, the history is amazing and I like it!"
The tour kicks off on January 13, 2008 with two dates at Dublin's Ambassador Ballroom and ends at London's Brixton Academy on January 25. Tickets go on sale today and can be purchased from www.aloud.com.
"I prefer the bigger venues because I feel the more we play to, there's more energy in the room," says Davis. "But then I love the intimacy of the smaller shows. It's great to see kids singing every word, even the new songs. It feels good!"
Korn's latest album Untitled is out now through Virgin.
