Following in the footsteps of former labelmates Carcass, Swedish death metal veterans At The Gates have confirmed that they are to reform for a series of dates next year.

Yay!! Shame I can't go to either festival though due to my geographical location :[
Hope they do a tour or even stick together and pen a new album!
Much prefer them to The Haunted (Y)

What\'s this actually got to do with Kerrang though? I thought this sort of music didn\'t fit in with their corporate branding and marketing targets.
Thats the best news i've heard all year. Their last album was as important to me as Slayers 'reign in blood'. It was so infuential, because it was such a sharp welding of styles, and had memorable songs to go with the absolute riff carnage.. not allot of bands back then could place their hand on hearts and claim that.. To say The Haunted was a step back is, a little harsh though. They just need Tomas to sing for them!
