BFMV unveil support bands

36 Crazyfists is by far the best band on that bill.. Skindred is fun live, but BFMV is one of the crappiest 'metal' bands that the UK produced in a long time.. It is such a shame that two very good live bands have to open up for them.. I hope 36 CF do some headline shows as well.

I think that 36 Crazyfists should just do their own shows, instead of support. They're awesome!! Saw them earlier this year when they played the 'local' venues. It's not often you get a big American band playing those sorts of venues in the UK.

Bullet are wether you like it or not, THE best band and one of the biggest selling rock acts this country has produced in a long fuckin time, both 36 and dred are great yes, but they are leagues apart song wise, performance wise and album sales wise. Their new album will be the biggest selling rock album of next year hands down. Long live the bullet.

Agreed with Mikey above, all three bands are great but Bullet destroy the other 2 on all levels. Im sure if you asked 36 and skindred who's better they'd know the score too. Will be a great show. Can wait!!!

How can you say Bullet are original and one of the biggest things of this country? Not one original riff, appauling bad live sound and act, terrible instrument handling and a fanbase not older than 15... How can you ever even compare that with two bands that have been out touring their ass of for respect of fans that will stick by a band longer than the time a fasion trend will stick.. 36 CF and Skindred are there because they deserve it, not because of a hype, because that's all that BFMV is and will ever be.

Hey Iwan, the reason 36 and skindred are on the bill is not because they deserve it but because bullet invited them, they dont just go on tour willy nilly, they have to be invited and the last time i checked all 3 bands tour dates bullet have toured and worked alot harder in the past 3 years for respect of their fans than the other 2 so how can you spout such tripe. Amazing live band,

Get your facts straight before you post stuff..

A. Bands don't invite shit. Management is the key word. Skindred got a new record out so they needed a big support slot to promote before heading off to a smaller headline tour, 36 CF are taking a small tour on to warm up because of the release of a new record soon and are touring randomly throughout Europe.. The BFMV slot is just a easy and good way to get tourdates for the UK filled.
So thats your story for the tour.

B. 36 Crazyfists actually dont cancel tours, promise to come back and then still dont come back unlike BFMV.. (Edinburgh...) So work ethics my arse as well.

C. Listen to true metal bands where BFMV is stealing from before you say anything about riffs, sound or whatever bullshit. Bands like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Lamb Of God etc etc. are the bands that know how to make riff unlike stealing them.

D. About the fashion trend.. We'll see in about 2 or 3 years time.

Of course bands invite other bands, that happens all the time, a band as established as BFMV will have a huuuuuuge part to do with who supports them or not regardless of management. Stealing riffs? Come on dude, thats just ridiculous if you think this then give examples. I do and always have listened to as you call it "true" metal bands and I cant hear any riff pinching goin on. Fashion trend? 2 or 3 years time? long time for a trend dont you think and since they've already been signed since 04, a 6-7 year fashion trend is a huge lengh of time for a "trend" dont ya think? Skindred and 36 will never headline the upcoming venues on their own tours ever, they just aint that good or accessible, how do you think bullet have got there? Cos they sell a shitload of albums worldwide and deliver the goods otherwise they wouldnt be where they are today, which is on the top of modern metal/rock, FACT. Check out how many albums they've sold worldwide of a debut release and you'll get it, no one in the modern genre does the sales live either like bullet does unless they put together a huge line up, black crusade as an example. Metallica/Maiden/Priest plus many other classic metal bands and all the major worldwide music press continue to hail bullet as the next 20 years of metal/rock music, they dont do this for fun and its so rare for them them to do it so think about it, bullet are the future of rock wether anyone likes it or not.

They might be big in the UK, I myself come from Holland and recently moved over to the UK, so maybe my view on the music is still a bit more open minded instead of filtered by Kerrang readers and 14 year old influential children. Outside the UK no one really gives a flying toss about BFMV. But all matters aside.. 36 CF dont have as many fans in the UK because of the simple fact that the music indeed isnt as accesible.. Why is BFMV big? Because they make metal so cheesy and poppy that even your 12 year old sister will like, not because of the music, but because of the trend and of the urge to belong to a pathetic group of followers.

Everyone to there own. There is always something out there that sounds the same as somethin else... i've said that far to many times in the last few years.

In my opinion 36 are the most impressive out of the line up and i've seen all 3 live before. They played local shows earlier this year and they were amzing live... i had the chance to have drink with the guys from 36... and they are possibly the most fan orientated band i've met! I just wish they'd do there own tour.

Fyi bullet mean a fuck of alot outside the uk, they have gone gold (over 100.000 albums sold) in Germany, are up to 400.000 in the u.s which is just shy of gold, gold in the UK which again is 100.000 copies and a fuck load all over Europe, Australia, Canada and tons of other places. If you dont beleive me then check the Nielson sound scan, you'll find it all there, so get your info straight about them not meaing shit outsid the UK before talkig dribble publicly, you mean bands like Trivium and funeral for a friend. Dont get me wrong, I loved my fair share of Nu-metal, but take it as it is.. It is just another trend. I keep myself busy listening to quality bands such as Tool, Minus The Bear, Dredg etc etc.. Timeless music made for the indivdual rather than the flock of sheeps.

People in Europe know who Bullet are, I read a lot of good reviews on Guns N' Roses websites and people loved Bullet when they toured with them, but they more focus on touring in England than Europe.

Seriously. If BFMV weren't on that tour it would be AMAZING. I love skindred and 36CF to bits, but I'm not going to see them because of BFMV, if I did go I would leave before they came on!

I've seen Skindred 3 times, and they never fail to be anything less than awesome! I've even seen BFMV once! (regretted that) and would love to see 36CF!!
