If anyone wishes something, it would be Axl, wishing to have Slash back in Guns N Roses man. Slash is better than that. I for one still hope for a good old reunion. They are becoming a trend anyway so why not. Won't happen though I'm afraid. Funny story by the way..

Iwan, if u ever read any interviews with slash all he talks about is guns n roses and possibilities of a gnr reunion

interviews with axl (although very rare) never include any talk of a reunion. last tiem axl went on tour every show sold out and he headlined all the major festivals in europe, asia and australia

VR barely sold out any dates on there last european tour and played low down the list of bands at all festivals they played

slash made killer cds since he left GNR, so far the only cd that i hate from slash is the last cd (VR), AXL since 91 been with a stoopid cover cd then making a weak cd that all the gigs he were on since 1999 were near failure the only thing that kept him alive is that ppl hope that they will see GNR playing the old cool songs

I agree with you on the things you say, but in my opinion Axl needs Slash more than Slash needs Axl. The release of Chinese Democracy has been a joke for years now and the GNR shows might have been big and sold out, but were very weak and had nothing to do with GNR in my opinion. I am not a VR at all, but when they start crackin out Mr. Brownstone and Its So Easy I felt more of a GNR vibe than I had with a full on Axl Rose and a cover band show.

GNR needs Slash, Duff and Matt.. Not just Axl.

i think alot of your last point was based on opinion. obviously opinions clash and i respect your point of view, it was alot clearer and more thought out than your first post, (same could be argued for mind i know) i saw GNR several times on their world tour and i thought every show was fantastic. admittedly i never saw the classic gnr line up together but axl has put togetehr a very good band that wouldnt get half as much shit if they had a different name

also for it truelly to be guns n roses dont they need tracci guns back in the band? know one ever seems to argue that

People dont mention Tracii Guns... coz he wasnt with them when they made it. He went on to make his own band

Fuck.. whats your problem with people moving on. Im sure theres bands you liked at some point and now dont.. thats how people feel and the new GnR line up coz they havent released anything in so long.

And FYI... Velvet Revolver sold out most of their shows this year... how long is it since Axl stayed on stage for a whole show or at least turned up on time?

No one made the band... it was the 5 of them together made the band. Not one person.. not Axl, not Slash etc... it was the 5 of them together making the music they liked and were good at. Even Slash says that it was the collective group who makde Guns what it was, which is why some people, myself included, arent so keen on the new formation.
