the new slipknot music is too predicatable.
i bought their album and i was dissapointed.
they need to get back to their rhythmnatic side.
theyre not as heavy as they used to be.
i really miss green day.

Loads of great bands there, lets just see if the albums are as good as they say they are.
Albums i want? In flames, BFMV, Slipknot, Metallica and whatever great metal records come out this year!
But nothing can beat 'The Blackening' by machine head!

(also nice work on finding a different band for the cover other then the back catalogue of bands worshipped by 12 year olds you seem to always give the cover to...like my chemical fuckwanks and aiden. so good job =D )

I'm pleased with all the metal and punk bands youve got like Gallows, BMTH, Green day, Machine head, Trivium, Slipknot, Billy Talent and alot of other stuff but they dont get mentioned as much as My crappy Romance and Fuck off Boy if you know thats an insult by the way. I would like you to mention the following bands more often including the ones above. Please also mention Red Chord, Every time I die, MxPx, Bless the fall, Still remains, Tokyo Police club, Dimmu Borgir, NOFX, Queens of the stone age, Lost Prophets, Silverstein, The Used, AFI, Atreyu, New found glory, Good Charlotte, Bouncing souls, Rancid, Sick of it all, Ted Maul, Engel, 36 crazyfists, FFAF, The academy is...., Reuben, Muse, Biffy clyro, Tool, Fugazi, Minor threat, BFMV, A7X, Serj Tankian and System of a down deserve mentioning even though he has gone solo, Soulfly, sepultura, Judas priest, Enter Shikari, Turisas, Stone man, Svartsot, Glamour of the kill, Evile, +44, Metallica, Less than Jake and several other bands like this right now. thankyou.

How uninteresting. That is possibly the worst photo of Slipknot ever, and nobody likes them anymore. They're a joke act. Honestly. The only reason I'm buying this issue: P!ATD album! I can't wait. Oh and the Gallows poster too, despite Gallows being ruined by entirely Frank Carter. But yeah. Not the best issue.

I am gonna buy this just cos PANIC are in it. Horrraaaay. I love them I love them. I can't wait for their album.

Secondly, the rest of the magazine sounds WELL BORING. BORING BORING BORING. Except for Slipknot of course, awesome awesome.

I just bought this issue of K! and I was extrmeley dissapointed for two reasons. Firstly that you didn't include MSI's new album in the new albums of '08 section, which they have announced will be released next year. I assume just it's because people with no sense of humour find them too offensive.
Also 3Ks for Manson? Shoved in the corner of a page? Manson has been such an influential figure in the mdern rock scene. I went to that show, it was mind blowing, everyone I've talked to who went agrees. I know you've got to sell issues but surely you can't just ignore music that is relevant today just because it's not in the majority.

thought i would check some of the hot newbies on itunes after getting this weeks issue (k! 1191) and most of the bands were'nt available but i did end up buying The Kicks Of Passion by Powerspace!! didn't really expect it but they were suprisingly good! I am actually addict to them at the moment!!

Here is the answer as to why Pandora won.

a) She is symbolic of everyone that likes rock/metal. She represents everyone, and shows us that we should all say "fuck you arseholes" when people discriminate against us.

b) She is good looking - so what if she is a cartoon...on a metaphysical level we could all be cartoons oO.

c) PANDORA RULES

d) Williams is not really that good looking...Amy Lee and Cristina (Lacuna Coil) and Lisa Middelhauve (Xandria) are WAY better looking.

it was so much better than london, it was their homecoming gig and we had matt davies in a santa suit, how much more awesome can you get.

i love my chemical romance, my favourite band, but im not kicking a fuss that they aren't in it.

don't immediately asume that 'emo's' only listen to mcr.
if you don't like them, why slag them off? some of the bands that im not a fan of are in this weeks issue and im not moaning.

so get over the fucking fact that it was kerrang that was printing a lot of mcr and not all mcr fans are dumb, pre-teen kids.

Maybe you should send someone with an brainstem to their gig next time, because Apocalyptica don't have a singer for a reason, they never have and they probably never will! I say the same to every ignorant being that dislikes them for their masks - they wear the masks because believe it or not, they don't want people to care about what they look like. Not now, not in ten years, not ever. THE MUSIC COMES FIRST. 99% of people who say they don't like slipknot have never actually sat down and LISTENED to their music. And if you're so dumb that you can't see past the masks, then you don't have the intelligence needed to understand their music.

Oh, and I fuckin HATE Pandora... I know it's a cartoon, and I know it's a joke. But firstly, as a character, she is basically a malicious bully. I dont find that funny. She is also anorexic with fake tits. No one human could look like that. (Duuuh, I know stating the obvious, but someone earlier suggested otherwise). Dont forget the number of young girls that read this magazine that are impressionable. Thirdly, I reckon she has all the STDs under the sun... she just looks like she would. Basically, all in all, it's a vile cartoon. And it's usually embarrassingly unfunny.

But thank God Hayley Williams didnt win that women poll. I don't like her either. What happened to people like Brody Dalle? I havent seen any recent pics but she used to be good looking.

i have listened to slipknot and i still hate their music

i get slipknot shoved in my face 24/7 by my brother so i am basically forced to listen to them, granted i hold my hands up. i like before i forget and duality but that is all.

and i think they wear the masks and "prison-like" thingys to draw attention to themselves.

This was a great issue, a tonne of my fav. band were in it Madina Lake, Panic!, 30 Seconds to Mars, Alkaline Trio, Lostprophets, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World suck in and even Elliot Minor were in it! Kerrang! that was a awesome issue!

i waited 4 days to get this issue and was so stoked to see that slipknot were on the front cover but was totally disappointed with the magazines content!!! heres hoping next weeks issue isnt a pile of shit!!!

why does everyone like these bands? so many of them are complete shit. slipknot... oooo look at me! i'm a scary guy wearing a mask! their music used to be good, but now it sucks! you people are missing the real good bands that find themselves tucked inside the pages of K! mag. some are Lostprophets (THE best band in the entire world, no really check their stuff out!), muse , the used, rise against, yellowcard. there are so many good bands out there that you are missing, so look them up NOW!

Why is there nothing on: Emperor, Immortal, Nile, Gorguts, Dimmu Borgir, Death Angel, Morbid Angel, Nightwish, Testament, Dark Angel ect.

We need more metal NOT Slipknot, Machine Head and Trivium. Kerrang just cares about whats "hip" these days.
