What About Ireland?!?!?!?! we get left out of like every major tour!!

x-x-x

Posted by Carrie <3 | January 18, 2008 5:03 PM | Reply to this

omg!
why cant they come to norwich?
instead of us having to go to london!?

Posted by rebecca | January 18, 2008 5:11 PM | Reply to this

Most bands don't care about Ireland. It's an hour (by plane) out of the way and only Money t 4 million people live there.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Ireland when I visited but if you want to go to loads of gigs you've got to move to London!

Get Packing...

ignore the 'Money t' bit

Posted by Patrick Bateman | January 18, 2008 5:53 PM | Reply to this

Lol, Panic at the disco. Actually, there not too bad. I would proberbly see them if the came to brighton. Can't be arsed to travel though.

Would have loved to have seen them at Reading 2006 though, when someone pwned the singer with that bottle.

Posted by Jordan | January 18, 2008 6:03 PM | Reply to this

Coming from the dude that uses the word 'pwned'.

Posted by Zowie | January 18, 2008 6:17 PM | Reply to this

'Pwned' is not cool. Then again neither is Brighton so maybe there is a link here....

Posted by Patrick Bateman | January 18, 2008 6:22 PM | Reply to this

Finally, how long has it been? Excluding decaydance. The number of dates are pretty patheic though and the roundhouse? That is not big enough for a band who sold out 2 Astoria dates within days.

I really hope I get to go to this!!

Yay! They're playing Birmingam! :)

i can't belive that they are touring the UK this year. i sooooooooooo want to see them play. i am glad they are playing in Glasgow cos now i can see them.

Posted by Jack | January 18, 2008 7:24 PM | Reply to this

actually there's nearly 6 million people in Ireland...
I agreed with you on the good charlotte topic, and i'm agreeing again.
the fueled by ramen/decaydance bands _always_ leave ireland out...Fall Out Boy are the only band of FBR to have played in Dublin, and that was three years ago! seriously, _any_ of these bands could pack out the ambassador. 30STM sold out in record time, so did Plain White T's...you can't say there's no demand. Like, for fucks sake, they'll play in Russia and Uganda (no offence to people from these countries, my uncle lives in Russia), but when it comes to a country about half an hour away from the UK, they just skip over it.
Logical? I think not.
And I think someone needs to rant to Kerrang mag about this.

Posted by Chloe | January 18, 2008 7:26 PM | Reply to this

aaaaahhhhhhhh
panic in glasgow they never come here yay!!!!

Posted by sjay | January 18, 2008 8:04 PM | Reply to this

I stand corrected on the Irish head count. :)

I'm not sure how much a band is involved with tour planning.

I think any rant should be directed at managers and promoters, not just the band!

They're performing in my BIRTHDAY at Nottingham, Rockcity! Too bad I live in Australia so I won't be able to go.

And if you're a Brendon lover, you might want to know that he is supposedly avaliable (check out the panic at the disco interview II with Mark Hoppus either at Buzznet or youtube).

(P.S. WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS, HUG A TREE!!!!!!!!!!!)

For fuck's sake, Kerrang. It's March 25, not March 24. GET IT RIGHT.

Posted by Jess | January 19, 2008 4:32 PM | Reply to this

haha, you tell em Jess :P

I agree that some of the venues maybe small, but I think that makes a better gig, more intimate. No way am I missing them at Manchester :D

I've heard that the tickets go on sale next fri, but pre-sale tickets will be available from wed 23rd, but don't quote me on that.
