Fightstar do it for charity

Fightstar have announced details of a special one-off show at London's Madame Jo Jo's on March 3 to mark the release of their forthcoming single Floods, in conjunction with Lowlife Clothing and the Oxjam charity.

"Oxjam is an organisation that we worked with a little in the past and we are happy to be involved with again," says Fightstar guitarist Alex Westaway. "Plus, the aftershow will be pretty messy!"

Tickets for the event - priced at £13 - are on sale February 15 and all proceeds will go to Oxjam. There are a limited number of tickets available for the show and after-party priced at £16 (which will include DJ sets from Gallows, Fightstar and more). For more info, go to www.lowlife.com.

Floods will be released on March 3 via Institute.

we all know fightstar are just the failing shit left behind from proper rock stars like Greenday and MCR so why do they try to do the rock star thing giving money to charity to get more people to join thier fan club not for the real reasons!! If i were them id give up there crap!!

Fck off man, Have you even seen them live because if you haven't then don't bother slagging them off. Green day i have nothing bad to say about them as they have been making good music for years.

As for MCR they are shit they can't even sing live and thats what a real bands about if you you cant sound like what you create your shit.
Fightstar do sound just like there albums and singles.
Only because he was in a previous pop group give him a break yeah he's doing something he's happy doing.
So you got nothing nice to say go else where James yeah

I believe that anyone that uses there own time for charity should be honored.

I was at the last kerrang tour gig at Brixton and fightstar played a blistering set only second to (In my Opinion) Coheed and Cambria.

I think people who dislike a band just because of there back record should review their opinions.

What if someone did that to you?

quite simply, fightstar are better than all of the bands kerrang constantly feature on here and in teh mag week in week out.

panic at the disco, bullet for my valetine, paramore,mc fucking r.....

anyone that slates these guys because of charlie simpsons previous band is a fucking moron and is missing out on an amazing band, not only on record, but live too.
