Two more Download bands announced tomorrow night!

Tomorrow night (Monday March 24) at 7PM we will be announcing two more bands for the Kerrang!-sponsored Download festival which takes place at Donington Park on June 13, 14 and 15.

Who would you like to see added to the bill?

The Kerrang!-sponsored Download festival will be headlined by: Kiss, The Offspring and Lostprophets.

The full list of other bands on the bill so far is as follows: 36 Crazy Fists, A Day To Remember, Alesana, Alter Bridge, Apocalyptica, Bleeding Through, Cavalera Conspiracy, Children Of Bodom, Chris Cornell, Coheed & Cambria, Disturbed, HIM, Incubus, In Flames, Job For A Cowboy, Jonathan Davis, Jimmy Eat World, Judas Priest, Kid Rock, Motorhead, Rise Against, Simple Plan, The Black Dahlia Murder, Throwdown, The Devil Wears Prada, The Dillinger Escape, The Subways and Within Temptation.

The Download festival takes place the weekend of June 13 to June 15. Tickets are on sale now. Prices are as follows: a full weekend ticket: £130, standard camping: £20, camper van: £40, family zone camping: £20, lockers: £11, parking £10 in advance or £15 on the day. There will be a variety of ticket packages available to buy, including the RIP packages (a VIP package) from £315. For Club or VIP Experience packages, please call 020 7009 3484 to discuss your requirements.

Disabled customers can call 0121 767 9729 to discuss accessibility arrangements. Please note, disabled customers will be provided with one free ticket for their helper, where required. if anyone really thinks one of the bands being announced is gonna be slipknot, they are an imbocile. with the headliners already announced (which aside from lostprophets are a fucking joke and someones idea of a bad one at that) slipknot are not gonna be lower on a bill that contains the offspring as headliners. my prediction is that new found glory and fall out boy will be added. nfg are amazing, whilst fallout boy are shit.

i think avenged sevenfold are going to be there, if you look at their myspace page, on the tour dates, it says theyre in london on the 5th of June, but their next gig is on the 16th of June. So possibly, they will be playing at Download :)

Where the hell you getting that idea from? Stone Sour haven't "completely finished" they're just not touring for Come What(ever) May anymore. Plus Slipknot are working on the new album and shit, so Stone Sour won't be working together for a while.

Oh, and to all the fucking dicks who think Stone Sour are Corey Taylor's and Jim Root's side project, you are wrong! Stone Sour formed in 1992 and their first album was released in 2002, I do believe. Corey Taylor and Jim Root joined Slipknot in the late ninties. So there you have it, Stone Sour are not a new band and I can't wait until they work together again.
