Fall Out Boy bassist to become a father?

The internet was rife with speculation yesterday when a US-based gossip magazine reported that Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz and fiance Ashlee Simpson are expecting.

People magazine claim the couple - who announced their engagement last week - are planning to get married at a private ceremony in Southern California in May ahead of the rumoured birth in October.

During a taping of MTV's TRL yesterday, Simpson, 23, dodged questions about her alleged pregnancy saying that if the rumours were true "I'd have had a baby by now".

"I just think it's an inappropriate question to ask any woman," Simpson added. "For me, that's something that I didn't ever want to respond to, because I think it's an inappropriate question.

"Some things, you want to keep personal, and I think that when people deny things, it's probably because it's something they want to keep personal."

Wentzy blasted the pregnancy rumours as a "witch hunt."

I think all the people who start these runour should wise up. Pete and Aslee deserve privacy as much as the next person. Like would you like runours being spread around that your pregnant. And like i could imagion it would be hard for ashlee and pete at this time. Announcing their engagement set off the press but now with the whole pregnancy thing?

journalism is about stating the FACTS. not things that are RUMOURED. in fact, this rumour has been DENIED by the people in question. this article shouldnt even exist...
as i say every time i see an awful article like this fall out boy = awesome pete wentz = retard, jackass, etc.
fall out boy would be far better off without pete. patrick has the infinite talent to carry the band by himself, if only the retard known as peter wentz would get out of our face.

Why is it that under every second news story, we have an argument about "that band are shit!" "no, you're shit" and all that crap?!

Go on band news for a band that YOU would like. Honestly, Fall Out Boy fans don't want to hear your rubbish.

But,
I'd just like to mention, that I have never been an Ashlee Simpson fan, probably don't think I will, but I guess Ashlee can't be as bad as we think because Pete has fallen for her.
Also, Pete has denied rumors about the pregnancy news. When US Weekly asked him if he denied the news, he said "Yeah."
Ashlee hasn't denied or approved the rumors, but I don't think she needs to because the so called "father" (which isn't true) has denied the rumors, and ofcourse he would be one of the first people to know.
