WTF!?
you need download tickets to go to cardiff solus?
thats fucking ridicoulus!

Posted by jacob | April 10, 2008 3:25 PM | Reply to this

Norwich went on sale yesterday and is more or less sold out, tickets keep coming available online

Its a Warm up tour people stop moaning because theyre not coming to your town. Bands have to make do with what venues are available, and can they fit in the dates with their schedule

eg. it would be silly to do a warm up date in glasgow and do another the next day in portsmouth. ok so why arent they doing these cities? maybe no venues are free that night.

use your brains people

Posted by blinkme | April 10, 2008 4:33 PM | Reply to this

so much for a tour,

why ahve they gone to norwich and cardiff
why not main towns like birmingham, manchester.

i hope they come brum

saw them last year
were fuking amazing.

Posted by benBLANK | April 10, 2008 4:35 PM | Reply to this

apparently cardiff is for download fest ticket holders only

Posted by karl | April 10, 2008 4:41 PM | Reply to this

Super. It's totally understandable that they just want to do a couple of warmup dates before Download, it's a big festival after all and they're coming straight out of the studio.

Hopefully they'll soon start touring again for real, once the new album - which will probably be amazing - comes out.

Posted by Anna | April 10, 2008 4:48 PM | Reply to this

Don't diss haha. Norwich is amazing, we deserve to get some decent bands down here :]

Anyway I guess they're just doing a few warmup gigs with smaller crowds so they can get themselves ready for DL.

They'll probably start touring- properly- after the release of their next album.

Why do they need warm up gigs? nobody needs warm up gigs to prepare themselves for getting bottled and booed offstage.

ill admit thats true, but Im looking at the bigger picture here. Im not saying Lostprophets are shit, because theyve done a number of decent songs, but theyre not the sort of band to headline Download, because theyre just not heavy enough. Download is a metal festival, first and foremost, and thats why MCR caused outrage last year when they were announced as headliners, because theyre not metal, theyre emo rock.

This is the reason why I feel LP will be bottled, however I dont think they will be bottled as much as The Offspring, because the Offspring are pop-punk, whereas LP are rock/hard rck and therfore coser in style to the metal genre. As for KISS, theyre glam rock, and they could b bottled but theyre legacy and history means hey will bewell respected
