Taking Back Sunday announce new guitarist

Taking Back Sunday have announced that Matt Fazzi of Facing New York has joined the band.

He replaces guitarist Fred Mascherino, who left last October. You can see pictures of him with the band HERE.

The band are currently working on the follow-up to 2006's Louder Now.

i love how they report on this and not cute is what we aim for's new bassist. who? oh, ONLY dave melilo.

oh well...taking back sunday rock, and so do the color fred. cant wait to hear their stuff with matt, especially since its so supposedly 'different'.

I wonder if he'll bring the lyrical quality and singing delivery up to that of John Nolan?

He seems cool, but i saw a video of them on youtube with him and it lacks Fred but he wierdly sounds like John Nolan so its not all bad.

Cant wait for the new stuff, bout time if you ask me :)
