FFAF post new single online

Funeral For A Friend have posted their new single online.

Head on over to the band's MySpace page to listen to Waterfront Dance Club. The single is taken from the band's as-yet-untitled forthcoming album.

"This is definitely our most energetic record," says frontman Matt Davies-Kreye. "It's heavy too, especially theme-wise, but this ain't a fuckin' metal record."

Can somebody explain the appeal of these to me please? I've seen them twice and heard their music and it's just not very good. Am I missing something?

It's ok. I've employed Tygertailz to defend Toad Towers. It's not like they do much else...

I honestly don't know. They're just....bland.

They're the Coventry City of music - there's nothing interesting going on, yet nobody can get themselves worked up about because they're so yawn inducing.

And no, I didn't see them supporting Maiden that time. My bus was late. :D

I can imagine FFAF fans running for their lives when they hear Love Bomb Baby.
"It's too......loud! toooo energetic! Tooo.....fun! Ruuuun!"

'Must... not... enjoy... self!'

I saw them supporting Maiden. The apathy was palpable!

I have to say, the Americans know how to do it. While all the tv people here were going on about widescreen this, widescreen that, and how just because films are made in widescreen, all other tv programmes should follow suit, the Americans were simply saying "Right, people want to see things in HD".

As a result they're miles ahead in the amount of HD programmes.

But we've got everything in widescreen, right?
Bastard widescreen zealots.

Seein them in July at Z008 Festival. I've only got 2 of their songs, nd the singles off their last album were pretty boring. Mite drink a bit of cider before i see them, it might make their set more fun =]

It's more like their roots music - without the screaming - if they just brought that back a bit...
