Nightwish to release rarities collection

Nightwish will release a digital only rarities collection entitled The Sound Of Nightwish Reborn to coincide with their US tour at the end of next month.

The nine-track, 70 minute effort will feature b-sides and pre Anette Olzon demo versions of tracks from their latest album Dark Passion Play.

The tracklisting is as follows:

Eva (pre- Anette Olzon Demo Version)
Reach (pre- Anette Olzon Demo Version)
While Your Lips Are Still Red (B-Side)
The Escapist (B-side)
The Poet And The Pendulum (pre-Anette Olzon Demo Version)
Bye Bye Beautiful (DJ Orkidea Remix)
Meadows Of Heaven (Orchestral Version)
Amaranth (Orchestral Version)
The Escapist (Instrumental Version)

The Sound Of Nightwish Reborn will be available from September 1.

Anette has an amazingvoice and is doing an amazing job with Nightwish and she most certainly doesnt sound anything like high school musical.

I think this rarities thing is a brilliant idea :) Sounds like an awsome track listing!!!

Bah. I care little for this, since for me, Nightwish ended after Once. Sure, Dark Passion Play had a couple of great tunes, namely The Poet and the Pendulum, but I simply abhor Meadows of Heaven and Master Passion Greed. Tracks like that ruined the album.

And it's no good comparing Annette to Tarja. They're both good at what they do, but what they do is so different. Imagine comparing your brand new mountain bike to your city council's new bin lorries. Both good at their job, both shit at the other.
