Slipknot confirm tracklisting for new album

Slipknot have revealed the tracklisting for their upcoming fourth studio album All Hope Is Gone.

The follow-up to 2004's Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) was recorded at Sound Farm Studios in the band's home state of Iowa between March and June of this year with producer Dave Fortman (Evanescence, Simple Plan, Mudvayne) and is currently being mixed in the UK by Colin Richardson (Machine Head, Trivium, Sepultura) ready for its worldwide release next month.

The tracklisting is as follows:

07 Butcher's Hook

10 Wherein Lies Continue
11 Snuff

Andymark is wrong on the album of the year in my opinion, Children Of Bodom - Blooddrunk and In Flames - A Sense Of Purpose are my favourites this year but thats my opinion
But I shall keep an interest in the Knot

Kinda looking forward to it
the two tracks I've heard so far though havn't left me particulaly impressed. Where's Sid's crazy Turntable sounds? Where is Chris and Shawn smashing some random object? It just sounds too conventional so far. Still fingures crossed the rest of the album is more olds school Slipknot.

Sounds like slipknot are emo ie they have emotions p.s most metal lyrically is a lot more depressing than what gets called emo the reason certain depressed people listen to those bands is cos the music is fun and uplifting.

EVERYTHING IS NOT POLITICS! and especially don't say in anyway that Amy Winehouse and britney spears are politics. She doesn't address the problem or sugest a solution just sings that it's bad for the people involved and we must get through it. Which can be used in relation to any bad thing in life. Even a bee sting.
Try some Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down, Pink Floyd, Rise Against. or Otep if you want some REAL political music
