Slipknot DJ hospitalised (again)

Slipknot's Sid Wilson has been hospitalised for the second time in a matter of weeks.

The DJ, who nearly forced The 'Knot to postpone filming the video for forthcoming single Psychosocial after he was hospitalised on June 30 BEFORE even arriving on set , apparently landed incorrectly after stage diving at the White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, Washington during Slipknot's headline set at the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival last Wednesday (July 9).

Sid now has casts on both legs, but has vowed to continue with the tour even if it means he has to play in a wheelchair.

The DJ made his live return - in a wheelchair - this past Saturday (July 12) when the Mayhem Festival hit Mountain View, California.

Slipknot rule, 9 piece band together with same line up 12 or more years later, they along with Korn saved metal, it was all grunge shit before!

get better soon Sid i have alot of respect for slipknot coz they never cancel coz they don't let fans down unlike so many other so-called bands that do it for the fans, no for the money more like!!

Korn and Slipnot didnt save metal, and have nothing to do with grunge's death. If any band killed grunge it was Oasis and the explosion of brit-pop, who actively hated grunge, and obv the death of Cobain helped. Korn and Shitnot came like 4 years later...if anything they turned the tide of britpop dominance, but would say Limp Bizkit and esp Linkin Park were more influencial than Korn and Slipnot tbh.

Slipknot's primary influences come from KoRn, so KoRn were before slipknot in the whole creation of Nu-Metal.

Hed PE, Deftones and KoRn helped revelutionize nu metal (Y)

funny how two of rocks biggest names - Slipknot, and Linkin Park, both have DJs, and yet have so many true rock and metal fans.

I'd sure be a "fake" band with a DJ if it meant being as good as these bands.
