Slipknot: In next week’s Kerrang! magazine

To mark the return of the mighty Slipknot, next week’s Kerrang! magazine – out Wednesday, July 23 - will feature not one but nine individual covers!

Slipknot are only the third band in K!’s 27 year history to be honoured in this way, joining Kiss and My Chemical Romance.

Check out some teaser shots below. But, if you can’t wait ‘til next Wednesday, pick up a copy of this week’s Kerrang! magazine to read Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor’s world exclusive track by track report of the band’s upcoming, fourth studio album, All Hope Is Gone.

I won't be getting all of them, I will get one as it's just the same mag with a different cover.

Probably get either Shawns, Coreys or Joeys depending on what my local shop has in. They only get three copies a week so, I dougbt they will have all 9.

Didn't know Joeys mask looked soo good untill you see it close up.
Looks even better on the cover like.

i was reading recently somewhere that craig jones (dude with nine inch nails protruding from his mask) is apparently really fuckin sinister and creepy, there was a quote saying that clown felt he was doing a public service just knowing where craig was gonna be day to day...i just thaught how funny it'd be if he were to take off his mask one day and underneath is the lead singer of elliot minor XD

Kerrangs expensive as it is, £2.20? If you buy all 9 covers that's £19.80. Fuck that, can probably buy Slipknot's new album TWICE for that. Or their whole back catalogue off eBay or somewhere haha.

Dave, where dya get that info from then? Coz as far as I know they are touring here with Machine Head and Children of Bodom, not Disturbed. They are doing the Mayhem Festival with Disturbed in the US.

aah fuck, this isn't good for those Kerrang! collectors out there.. i think i'll just buy 2 at the most.. I like James's and Joey's cause they are aesthetically the best looking cover shots. Nice idea, but as Kerrang is now a horrendous £2.20 per issue, i shant be buying the full set.

I just bought this weeks Kerrang Magazine.
No, I didnt buy all nine even though I would like to. But anyway, I got home and started reading the Slipknot feature and came to this.. and I quote.
"We're still a bunch of dicks, Taylor adds with a wry smile."
Now is it me and my lack of vocabulary or is wry an actually a word?

I am a HUGE slipknot fan, and i feel tricked into buying the magazine as when i read on myspace that there were 9 slipknot pictures i thought it meant 9 posters all in the same magazine.

so imagine my suprise n outrage when i saw that its just the front cover, i had to cut out just his face n the kerrang sign is over his head which ruins it.

i feel like asking for a refund!
and the actual posters didnt make up 4 it, elliot minor!?!

why couldnt u have put all 9 members on one cover. It would be so much easier.
