A reform!

Brit rock legends A have reformed and they will make their live re-emergence supporting The Wildhearts in December.

However, former bassist / current Hexes frontman / Radio 1 rock show DJ, Daniel P. Carter, won't be rejoining the band.

"A was some of the greatest times I have ever had playing music and I love those boys," says carter. "I don't think I am 'too good' to be playing in A and its not because I am too busy with my job at Radio 1. It's simply that when we drew a line in the sand and said we were done, I felt like we were.

"We played the one off show a while back and though it was fucking great whilst we were playing, as soon as it was finished I felt a bit confused as to what had just happened," he continues. "So, to cease any speculation and so no one thinks there is any weirdness, I won't be playing the shows because I am trying to sort out my new band and focus on that for a little bit... If there are going to be more A shows in the future, I may play them, I may not, depends if they still want me after [new bassist] John has shown his bass skills, but whatever happens I will be at the London show watching my brothers play some rocking tunes and I will sing along. The end."

You haven't missed out Toad, it's the London, Wolves and Manchester dates on the December tour they're doing, not the Earth Vs gig, and there're plenty of tickets left for those.

Firstly you may have noticed Dan is now a Radio1 DJ and has a new band Hexes. Jason and Adam have set up their own production company/label and have been working with loads of bands and even got a few no1's.
Mark has been playing in a few bands and also Adam is the new drummer for the Bloodhound Gang.
And finally I believe Giles has been doing some work in video production and was recently working on a project with the BBC.
So yeah, they've been working at Starbucks, you're right.

Yet you took the time to click and read this page then leave a comment.
You then came back, read my comment and replied -twice.

I think you're secretly an 'A' fan since you obviously care a lot! :)

I think you're right brendan.. sounds like a closet "A" fan if ever I've heard one.

Aside from pricks like this.. if any of you wanna hear a band that are great live, then "A" are the ones to check out.. i hear the wildhearts aren't bad either ;)
