Dear Kerrang! I am writeing to tell you about my DISCUST about Phil's comment in this weeks mag about Anette!
I surely hope he realises that Nightwish chose to have a different type of singer from Tarja- And also that Tarja was going to leave anyway? Or the fact that Anette was chosen out of two thousend other singers! She is not just a mearly 'pub singer' she has obvious talent!
If anyone was a 'True Fan' they would not care about the singers voice and enjoy the music for what it is: AMAZING!
So just a few words for the Tarja zombies who dislike Anette: Get over it! Tarja was kicked out almost 4 years ago! (and go listen to My Winter Storm if you hate the new singer so much and leave us True Nightwish fans to listen to the fucking amazing music!)

Hmm..
Can't you include interviews and that with bands like Escape The Fate.. that would really make my week.. rather than just including an occasional advert for their new cd.. and there was an advertisement for their new CD a few issues back.. yet their CD hasn't even been included with all the other next month releases, you've even included You Me At Six.. not that i've got a problem like that cause i love those guys but what about Escape The Fate? They atleast deserve that.

It was a decent issue this week. I suppose you could call me a fan of BMTH, but either way, there has been a bazillion and one bands that haven't been accepted by a certain genre of rock or metal. And BMTH are just another one of those bands. But I can second on the 'Now Bring Me The Horizon want to win back some respect' thing...it was quite amusing. :)
With the covers of the Metallica gig and shizzle....I reckon it was a pretty good issue!

honestly, I love Bring me the Horizon, and I am suppper picky about metal music. I usually fall in love with guitar rifts and heavy tempo of most metal groups, but the vocalist has to have a good voice too that appeals to me and THAT is what always gets me, and I think Oli has a very good voice.

and I may be one of the first girls to admitt I actually don't love oli or think he's hott, those girls that only like BMTH because of his looks make me sick. although I will admitt, I do love one of the members, the guitarist, Curtis Ward, I find him amazing, talented and he's not bad looking.

whoever hates Bring Me the Horizon needs to get over it, there's not always going to be bands you like, and BMTH isn't leaving anytime soon, this is just the beginning, they have a long time ahead of them. They've made it pretty far and are well deserving of their fame. I can't wait to see them in November.

i mean, i already love the band but reading that made me like them even more.

The bit where Oli says that he doesn't know what hes done wrong for people to hate him so much made me sad.lol.

i love Oli, bmth's music is awesome.

I was at the same gig as Special_J. I'm so fucking pissed that they kept us there for two & a half hours before informing us the night was cancelled. And even when they did, the bands we just on stage all happy and smiling, thinking a shitty beat box from MSI and throwing a few picks & drum sticks is going to make everyone happy. Kerrang, you along with Brixton Academy shall be receiving a ton of hate mail from myself demand a refund.

I have to agree that communication was an issure with this gig, it took too long to let the crowd know what was happening. Tbh, the bands looked as pissed off as we were, I say fair play to them for showing their face instead of just getting out. Didn't stick around for the 'plaster on a gaping wound' but one question remains...if they didnt have enough power to run the music, how could they run that projector constantly...?

Came all the way from Sweden for this show. Am now left with having spent lots of money to go overseas for NOTHING. I wish Kerrang! would refund all the costs of hostels and flights but I'm fairly sure that they won't. L-A-M-E! I'm totally pissed off. BOO!

The Streets gig got cancelled last night for exactly the same reason.. They didn't fix the problem so they must of known it was gonna happen again.. Why get our hopes up for nothing eh? thats really unfair. :(

So i went to Brixton yesterday aswell, only really to se Dir En Grey and as most people know there was a powercut and the show was cancelled, fair enough you know sometimes shit happens. But what pissed me off more than that was how the little underage so called fans were so unbelievably disrespectful to the musicians. When the organisers came out to notify everyone that it was cancelled , the bands came out aswell and they all looked genuinely disappointed they were met with abuse and people throwing shit at them.
WHat the fuck is going on when fans start throwing abuse and rubbish at bands who haven't been here for years , i think it is utter bullshit and the younger lot of fans (obviously not all of them) need to learn some damn respect, yeah its a shame about the power but that is not the fault of the bands who were also looking forward to performing an awesome set for the last nite of the tour.
It doesn'ttake too much logical thought and it wouldn't kill the little shits in the crowd to have a bit more f**king respect.
Just hope to see Dir En Grey again at some point probs in Japan next time.

i risked my life for nothing! im 16 and i went brixton on my own by tube and it took over an hour! then i walked the streets of brixton meeting friends ive never been so scared in my life! waited 5 hours in the cold! go in got crushed against barrier hurt my rib then it gets cancelled wtf? took me ages to buy me and my mate a ticket got all excited to see bmth and it gets cancelled! Kerrang do something bout this!?

I'm really disappointed about last nights show, not so much towards Kerrang. I'm more pissed off at the academy for not giving us any updates inside for over 2 hours. This also goes for the wait I had outside, I think I've caught a fucking cold now because of that.

This needs to be rescheduled.

I Forked Out Over 60 quid to those cunts for tickets they better reschedule with use of our allready paid for tickets... OR give us our money back !... Sorry, but I'm not understanding this "power failure". They told us through mics. And that big projection and the lights on stage were on the whole 2 and a half hours we were kept there waiting. Honestly, I feel like we've been treated really unfairly. Last night was actually the worst night I've ever had. We better be getting our money back.

I am so pissed off. Not only did I pay for that ticket but I also paid for my travel to and from Reading for nothing! Im a student ffs i cant be pissing around with money like that. Whats worse though is that I met two girls from Germany in the crowd last night and spoke to them for a while. They had come all the way from fucking Germany for that gig, just to be sent away again. They wont be able to go to the rescheduled gig. I dont give a shit if its not your fault kerrang, its not ours either and you guys better think of something thats gonna sort out the thousands of kids you pissed off last night. Bangin show.

Everything was working apart from the some sets of the lights. The bands were going to go ahead and play anyway but they were told they weren't allowed due to health and safety reasons.

I had been looking forward to seeing Dir En Grey at this concert for months. I wouldn't blame them if they didn't return here because of the abuse they were met with onstage.

I'm just completely disappointed.

Im really glad someone else noticed this, ffs it wasn't the bands that caused the power failure. At the end of the day it wasn't the lack of music, the traveling expenses or even the apparent lack of respect for the musicians that pissed me off so much...it was the complete and utter LACK of communication. Poor show guys, gonna have to seriously re-think this one.

Taryn: I don't think it is the other fans you should be fighting with here really.

I know it wasn't our fault and I can understand the crowd's reaction but it wasn't the band members fault either that they couldn't play. They would have had to go through the disappointment of not being able to play and then they had to go through having things thrown at their faces onstage.

The fault lies with Brixton Academy.

guys it happened the night before at brixton to for the streets. it really isn't kerrangs fault. things like that happen, we're just going to have to hope that they reschedule.. WITH bring me the horizon deffo playing. because they are the only band i went for. :D
i'm just pissed tht i'm a student who spent loads of money to travel all the way to london at 9 in the morning and then to be sent away again so late when the security guards were certain at 8 it wasn't going to happen. EPIC FAILURE BRIXTON on that one. just make sure its rescheduled with bring me the horizon and i know that practicaly 90% of that crowd will be happy.

I'm not really that bothered with another show to be honest. Practically all of the bands are fully booked until the summer so if Kerrang did decide to reschedule it wouldn't be till then or we'd have a totally different line up (the whole reason I went).

I don't see why people are blaming Kerrang OR Brixton. Last year's K! Tour Brixton show was fucking immense (including that mishap with Madina Lake and Coheed). It was handled amazingly and was just generally awesome.

I think the reason they took so long to tell us was cause they were trying to fix it. I can understand why people were so upset though - the people from Norway & Germany should get refunded for their travel surely.

So yeah, absolutely gutted but it's not exactly anyone's fault. Shit happens. Sure I'd be amazingly happy if Kerrang somehow managed to get all the bands back at Brixton again but apart from that I'm only concerned about getting my money back now.

LLLAAAMMMMEEEEEE, this was my first time on gonig to the kerrang tour coz the absolute amaze line up :/
i am begging you to get the same line up and rescheudule, im prepared to wait until summer if i have to. i need bmth there, but i found the fact that they didnt even come on stage like all the other acts to apologise really rude. i love em but both kerrang and brixton messed up, they should of told us earlier and should of warned people about the power cut that had happened the night before. if kerrang dont pull together the line up at brixton again, i want my money back.

look, it wasnt the fault of the bands and it wasnt our fault either.
in an ideal world, since there was an electric problem that cancelled 'the streets' gig the night before, brixton academy should have called in a sparkey. that's what 24 hour electricians are for for goodness sakes!!
bang out of order.
a rescheduling aint gonna cut it seeing as the main bands people came to see (dir en gray) won't be there. well pissed off!
i agree, people should be refunded not just ticket money but travel and in the case of some people air tickets but unfortunately i don't think it's going to happen.

i know last nights concert suck hairyballs, but its not really the bands fault at the end of the day, its bad luck that people had to wait around for ages, soooo wat!!!! we all did, so shut up !!!! At least the bands achally came out instaed of leaving early, and i think the reason they made us hold on till 9, was to see if the power came on, becasue it would of really sucked if we all went home at like 8 , and then the power came bac on at 9 !!!!! just give the guys a rest, i really dnt think thaat they will do another date becasue of all the shit they were called and wat was thrown at them , i wuddnt come bac if that hapened to me !!!

the box office lost my tickets ystrday, and i was at home at 8 last night crying my eyes out cause i 'missed the show'... and then my friend called me at 10 and told me this happened.. i felt gutted for the people that had to trek all the way to brixton, but still, i was really really really happy i didnt miss the show.

First of all, it was bloody cold last night, having everyone wait an hour OUTSIDE the venue, well most of them were there for about 2 hours, what the hell? Then letting us in, waiting till 9 o'clock to then basically tell us to 'fuck off' as it was cancelled. Sorry, but that is taking the piss. We wasted money and time, getting train fares, travelling up to London and then have to go back, for nothing. What the hell.
I must admit, the best bit of my evening was when everyone came out, I grabbed my free Dir En Grey CD, threw it at the stage and JUST missed the drummer of MSI, she pointed to the CD and turned to a Dir En Grey member and said 'that's your CD', would have been much better if I hit that dick that was trying to tell us what to do.

it wasnt kerrang or the bands' faults, but if you're looking to place blame, hit brixton with it!
if the fuckers knew that the venue wasnt 100% perfect with the cancellation of The Streets gig the previous night, they could've saved everyone the time, energy and money and cancelled it before everyone got to Brixton. That's a serious joke.
This show better be rescheduled.

Well just like every other kid on here, last night I spent over £30 going to Brixton-Fucking-Shit-Hole-Academy, waited in line in the freezing cold for god knows how long. Got inside and waited for even longer, only to be told Ooh hay it's cancelled.
How pissed off was I? Let alone my 2 best friends who were there esp for MSI who happen to be their favorite band.

Kerrang best have something up it's sleeve to pay for this. Rescheduling...It's swings and roundabouts cos all the trouble they have to put into it like getting security, policing, advertisement ect will be wasted if kids decided not to show, or if a similar said 'power cut' happens. But at the same time Kerrang and all the bands who were there last night are going to get tons of shit for this and it's not even their bloody fault.

As a parent who had to drive for 90mins to take her daughter to the gig I am disgusted that they left the fans inside for 2 hours before they decided it was canx.! So I managed to drive all the way home and then had to come straight back again! What a way to treat young adults and caring parents !!

TBH i just blame Brixton cos they had the same problem the day before with the " The Streets" which there tickets costs £45 Each so they could have, at least sorted something out within 24hrs!!
But they was saying theirs a power problem in the area ( SO WHY WAS ALL THE OTHER BUILDS N LIGHTS STILL ON :S)

Ok so fair enough the bands are all booked up for the next few months, so with the refund i think they could but ppl on a reserved ticket list for next year if they want to go.

you cant just give our money back for the tickets when we waited from 5:30 in the cold and and when we got in we still waited till 8:45 and getting there and back the train tickets cost £18 each and a full wast of a friday night so how do you plan on paying us back for all that.

I can't believe Brixton last night! The powercut completly ruined the show and we all paid money to get there and they don't even reschedule it! That's one thing they could have at least done but no. Bring Me The Horizon didn't even make their appearance, they hid behind Dir En Grey! Mindless self indulgence's Jimmy Urine and Steve Righ made the night what it was. They at least attempted to give us a bit to go with when they did a sort of acoustic/beatbox. And when they came out to sign peoples stuff and give us all hugs. Dir En Grey did as well and we still got free stuff. But i'm still pretty annoyed that they didnt reschedule! We waited for an hour and a half before we got in and then a hour being crushed at the front waiting for a fucking anouncement from them! At leats Steve had some guts to tell us and say sorry, the others stood there like they didnt even care! Won't be relying on brixton from now on, but thanks Jimmy and Steve for a better night that it would've been.

i heard when i was by the buses of the power cut at the steets, the security guy told us at like 11am? they should of just cancelled last night to do it for today! ffs -_-' i was in the cold since 10am and not to mention it took them two and half hours to let us know once in.
why can't they like reschedule for may? or even mid-april, i'm sure most of the bands can do that!
its outrageous that the CAPITAL of the uk have to miss out on one of the biggest gigs of the year, and having our money refunded isn't going to make up for travel costs is it now?

I am absolutely, fully, completely gutted about last night's Brixton show cancellation.
I'm skint at the moment and spent a lot of money that I didn't really have on food and travel yesterday, and waited for hours in the cold etc. like everyone else.
I wanted to cry when we got told to fuck off by security (and my mate got punched by a guard), I missed the BMTH show in November which all my mates went to so I was really looking forward to this, and I've seen a couple of the bands playing previously and they were amazing, so yeah it was gonna be an awesome night, and now I'm so sad that we all had to miss out.
The thing is though guys, we really can't blame Kerrang - they don't run the electrics of Brixton Academy.
They've put great effort into organising an amazing tour, it's just such an epic shame that the London date got fucked up.
They could've moved venues just to be on the safe side after The Streets got cancelled on the 29th, but to be fair they didn't have very much time to sort that out AT ALL.
I'm not a happy bunny in any way shape or form, I just wanted to spend my Friday night at a great show with my mates, but what's done is done and we need to cope with it.
Kerrang, I don't want a refund, and I obviously can't expect you to pay for my travel (though i feel AWFUL for the icelandic guy i was talking to who came to england just for this), but please just make an effort to reschedule this show with the line-up that we paid for. I understand that some of the bands are touring different countries real soon, but please try and sort something out.

I was at the show, and thought that the way the situation was handled was disgusting, simply from the fact that the people in the crowd had to suffer, the acoustics where functioning correctly as we could see from someone making an announcement at least two hours after the gig should have started, so i want to know why no-one could have informed us of what was happening at the time, as people were getting ratty in the crowd and it was not pleasant. A lot of people went out there way for this concert and expected to be treated respectfully, but instead got told to pretty much fuck off, i will admit thou under the circumstances the management for the venue were very helpful and apologetic. like Perry said above, if the Streets was cancelled the night before due to the same reason why could you not move us to another venue? Overall i am very pissed off about the events from last night, due to how i personally felt the evening went i want either the show to be rescheduled in the near future or a full refund. this situation has killed my view on brixton as being the best venue in london as it did not deliver the goods that people wanted.

i think that overall brixton handled this situation EXTREMLY badly

its just fucking pathetic thinking you treat people how they got treated last night.

I was so excited about the Relentless tour. It was gonna make one of my not so good weeks end on a high note. so much for that one.

I understand it wasnt Kerrangs fault and they were trying to sort out the problem. And not the fault of the bands who also looked gutted. but there were ways they could have kept the crowd posted and let them know wat was goin on.. everyone was just left to wait for ages they waited for us all to buy the ricdiculously expensive drinks and merch before telling us to sod off.

Respect to MSI. Jimmy and Steve were pretty brave to stand up infront of that crowd and do wat they did.

1. MSI put a bit of light into what was a horrible situation, they have guts and lovely personalitys i was one of the many others who got a chance to meet jimmy and i thought they were all lovely to sing/beatbox and come out and chat

2. Oli Sykes and the rest of BMTH showed there true colours, they didn't seem to care at all about there fans, dedicated fans of theirs were devistated, i saw some crying yet he couldnt find it in hiself to come and show hiself properly like the rest of the bands, pathetic.

3. Brixton Academy staff handled it all terribly, they tried to get as much money as they could out of us by inviting us in after all we all know if they really cared about our safety they would have invited us in long before they did, they didnt keep us posted and just left us in the dark, they treated us like we were the ones who had caused the problems, threatning to actually remove us if we didn't get out of our own accord, this was AFTER we were told we could wait for our parents, people camped overnight and some came from far away somebody got taken away in an ambulance AND THEY THINK THEY COULD CONSOLE US WITH SOME BLOW UP BEACH BALLS. pathetic

4. No Re-Schedule? that's pathetic of all the venues in london you cant find one place to hold one as your way of saying sorry. it's discusting. While i respect that it wasnt the fault of you or the bands that the gig was cancled and we are getting refunded, i'd rather see the gig than get 100 refunds.

like i've said the only people that will get ANY respect from me are Jimmy Kitty and Steve. much love to them

In honesty NO ONE can blame the bands, I felt so bad for them when they started getting stuff thrown at them - probably aimed at the brixton workers but I would have hated to be the bands.

I didnt think they'd reschedule because obviously some bands are from really far away and wouldn't make it.
The only thing was, yeah they really did stinge us for our money.
Bought merchandise as well as drinks inside which I wish I hadn't because its that crappy venue getting our money.
Spent fifty quid on the whole day out in london, a complete WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

How hard is it to get some one in that day to make sure everything is working as they had the same problem the night before, must be complete idiots for not being able to fix it.

I'm never going back to Brixton 02 academy again, it was shameful, the staff were a bunch of wankers and wouldnt even let my bf in VIP even though he has a photography pass. Not that he'd have gotten photographs as there was NOTHING TO PHOTOGRAPH, but they also took his damn expensive camera off him. If it was my camera I wouldn't have let it go, I don't trust their lockers.

I was there last night and it was pretty fucking shite. Me and my friends had been looking forward to this gig for months and the way we were told to pretty much fuck off was disgusting.
However, its not really Kerrang's fault is it? They can't help electrical failures and cant control what the bands are doing after the tour. Yet some sort of re-schedule no matter when it is would have been nice. I will be getting my refund but that doesnt exactly cover my disappointment and travel costs!
I was there mainly to see BMTH and the fact that they cowered in the corner rather than face the crowd was pathetic, full respect goes to MSI and Dir en grey (who i dont particuly like anyway) as they had the fucking balls to stand up in front of a very angry crowd.

Fuck Brixton, i dont plan to go there for a while...

1. i went for bring me the horizon, and they cowered because someone chucked a shoe at oli, and that isn't right, he doesn't deserve that! none of the bands do.
2. it was the dickheads who were working on the streets outside that caused the power issues.
3. fxck using brixton again, i've been there a lot but a few times i have had a lot of issues.. with trains, sound etcetc. but the lights werent workng properly and not all the amps, and it was said tht it would be a health and safety hazard o the bands to go on stage, they really did want to go on stage.
4. NO RESCHEDULE??!?!??!? you could easily do it at another venue this week some time, like islington maybe?!?! sort it out. because i would prefer the gig rater than a refund.

so was the support metro station and every avenue!
BLG were immense, much more 'indie' than there songs, the whole place was electric and they got everyone going, encouraging moshing + walls of death, one of the best gigs i've been to!

Unfortunate as it is, they can't reschedule this week (actually longer than that) because all the bands are fully booked with tours now. I too would prefer the gig rather than a refund but I think they've just given up really.

I ended up in fucking hospital because that gig and all the twats that were trying to cause shit.

I've had to deal with a neck brace, an injection (painkiller), two blood sugar tests, two hysterical parents and X-rays - as well as a lot of back pain and a panic attack.

I do not blame the bands or organisers for the power cut. That part is not their fault. What is your fault, Kerrang!, is keeping us all caged in there for TWO HOURS and probaly more. So what if it was cold outside? It's not like we couldn't deal with it, there were people who had been there since Thursday afternoon, waiting outside the venue IN THE COLD. A little harsh weather would have been bearable.

Me and my friends were being suffocated and close to fainting! A lot of people got crushed or did faint! The fact that you left it for two hours to tell us about the cancellation is pathetic. No wonder you caused a riot and a near stage invasion.

If I don't get a refund, fuck you.

That is possibly the worst gig I've had.

PS. Thank you so much to Jimmy and Steve for trying to cheer us up with that non-instrumental version of Shut Me Up. Also thanks to the member of Black Tide who came out and said hi.

to be honest, the only part i'm really pissed off about are those so called excuses for 'fans' who threw abuse and went mental at the bands. they came onstage and they all looked genuinely upset (me being at the front i could see their lovely faces) and they got shit thrown at them.

at least msi fucking tried to cheer us all up, i was cheering them on. those of you who said their rendition of Shut Me Up was shit - erm - hello. they had virtually no power, what the fuck were they supposed to do? jimmy's voice still sounded amazing.

i understand people are upset about traveling, that's fair enough but shit happens i spose.

i think the people at brixton did a pretty good job, tons of sound techs came to the front and told us what was going on; they only had 30% of the backup power supply. we passed it around but obviously it didn't get far. i think 30% was just enough to power the lights and projector, which even then flickered on and off a few times.

i like to think in those two hours everyone was doing their best backstage to sort everything out. maybe i'm just being optimistic.

but hey, i'm just thankful bands came on and gave out free stuff, i think that was the least they could to if i'm honest.

also, thank you to the person pissing in the letterbox, you made me laugh.

4 things that made brixton night a little bit better :

1. Jimmy and Steve's little acappella performance.
2. The guy who yelled out "This is the bestest gig ever!!" as he walked out -- lovin his attitude.
3. The look on my friends face when some randomer yelled out "Ollie Sykes is a cunt!" -- i actually thought she might've killed him.
4. The fact that Jimmy stayed out for freakin ages to sign stuff for people, including my Nando's bag.

as for all the cunts wanting to start a riot when they found out the show was cancelled, a)not the people on stage's fault and b)some girl got taken out in a stretcher thanks to you.

Im reeeeeally peed off at Kerrang..you guys could have told us that the show wasn't going ahead THE NIGHT BEFORE! Seeing as there was a powercut then aswell, we should have been warned. You let us queue outside for hours, then let us into the building for hours, then you tell us its not going ahead. You could have at least made the effort to let the bands on stage to sing to us without music- the mics were on!!!!!!!!!!!! A few free picks doesnt win us over. I paid to see MSI, Dir en Grey, Black Tide, In Case of Fire and Bring me the Horizon, so I want to see them. Whens the gig?

So basically the only reason they told us to come to brixton was to supply them with money for their stupid fucking merchandise and drinks from their bars. Basically Brixton just wanted to make a profit out of cheating fans into buying stuff to use at a gig they were never gonna see. Its all money now. And I'm kinda gutted now I heard MSI were apparently hugging people. My friend didnt even want to stay one more minute she was so pissed off, but i hella woulda stayed for that. i am agreeing with you and i fthink u deserve a lot from k! to make for it

luckily i went the night before and it was great.

i think each band should do 1 gig each and it should be a full headline slot at brixton academy for the people who came to see and if u wanted to see icof then go on there day, if u wanted to see MSI go on there day ect and you can go to more than 1 of the gigs cus its only fair. and it should only be for poeple WITH tix to K! tour at brixton

and can i ask why would you pay to see BMTH or in case of fire???

Not amused AT ALL !!!!

Not only was there not enough information on the nite it was pointless letting everyone in to make us stand there for hours.

Can you get around to making up your minds what your going to tell ticket master as they refuse to give us our money back until you tell them too !!

Some secruity dude said to be that the reason it got cancelled was only because the back stage lights werent working for the members of the bands to walk up onto the stage.
Its called a torch or a fone light!
Pissed me off big time.
I dont care when you reshedule it! Just do it, i was so close to seeing bmth!!!! And brixton let so many people down.
I understand its not your fault, but i dont care about refunds, i just wnna see them play.
Reshedule it for when bmth come back :)

It is NOT Kerrangs fault :(
Or the bands.
Or the venue's tbh.
It's not as if they hadn't tried to get the power up and running, because at the end of the day, Kerrang are going to want the money back that they paid for the venue.
I was hurling abuse at them, just like everyone else in the venue was. I'm sorry for that, but I was extremely pissed of at the time, as everyone else was :).
I'd love for it to be rescheduled, but it's gonna be hard to get MSI back :(. I wouldn;t mind it if they got YMAS though (:.
Thank fuck for decent bands like MSI though, they actually provided us with a little entertainment. Jimmy stayed out the back for agessss and signed stuff for people, and Steve decided to chat to loads of the fans as well :). Dir En Grey had some guts as well, coming back on stage and throwing out all the stuff for the audience. i was a little dissapointed with BMTH for not coming back on, but it wasn;t really their fault, so they had no reason to really.

I am so gutted about Friday and although understanding it was not Kerrang!'s or Brixtons falut (although the venue had a gig the night before that was cancelled) they still could have made a disapointing evening slightly better. I left home at 7am, and waited for hours only to be let in at 6.30 and 2 and a half hours later be told to go home.
Lots of people spent small fortunes just to get there. I personally lied to my parents and bunked college to go.
No wonder those girls from Japan literally fell apart.
I always thought Jimmy Urine was a bit of a cunt, but he should get some credit along with Steve for singing shut me up and meeting their fans after, which is more then you can say about BMTH. I went for BMTH and was appauled by the way they treated thier fans after the show. There was lots of young fans outside their tour bus, singing lyrics and they got told to 'fuck off' which was my que to say 'no wonder everyone hates you'

After all this we find there is no reshedule. Absolute piss take.

And do you know the worst bit? We didnt even get our free relentless.

Tbh it's partly kerrangs fault, they knew the same thing happend the night before.

THey say they couldnt reschudle the next day (31st) cause there was no guarentee the problem would be fixed, and they new the night before the gig (29th) it happend to the streets and that was cancelled, so they straight up knew that there was no gurantee that it was going to work the night of the gig, they just let us in to buy there fucking merch and spend money at the bar.
takes the piss tbh, i blame brixton more than kerrang tho. but you could atleast try and reschuldle it or handle it alot fucking better, as you can see no one cares if we have to wait a year, we want the fucking gig we were promised not a refund, and only the people who had a ticket caue thats only fair.

and its the 2nd wheres the fucking link for refunds and whats going on, as ticket master wont give us our money back cause you cant fucking make up your minds!

apparently, in case of fire did come out, just noone knew who they were so they went back in their little van, and dir en grey went out...i think..but not for long..

msi were the only band that was out for agesss and kitty was ill....

i actuly had the BEST time, even if their was no gig, but the brixton academy security people were dicks. end of.
ah, its not kerrang!s fault. and health and safty shut brixton academy down.
blame the national grid or whatever.

You should all go watch Gremlins 2, and listen to the Gremlins sing New York, New York. You'll see that the average gremlin's singing is infinitely better than Sykes "attempts".
