Mikey Way comic to be released for Halloween

As previously reported on Kerrang! Dot Com, My Chemical Romance bassist Mikey Way is following in his big brother Gerard's footsteps by penning his own comic book.

The first fruits of which - an eight-page story - will be released in an upcoming DC Comics Halloween special.

Internet rumours have hinted that it might appear in one of the Batman comics, although official sources are yet to confirm this.

When I heard he was making a comic as well, i was soooo happy. I love Gerards comic, TUA, and I cant wait to read Mikey's comic, ino its gonna be amazing. TUA is addicting, so im expecting some addiction towards his upcoming comic too!!

I like MCR and have all the cd's and crap and i've even seen them live a couple of times but please tell me i'm not the only one that wishes they would just go away for a while.
A couple of weeks ago i thought they planned to take a break, think up a cool new direction and write a punky new album and then come back in a couple of years time on top of the world again. Around the time of that horrible video for teenagers i just felt like were abusing my interest in the band and that there was nothing mysterious or exiting going on with them anymore.
i didn't even know mikey had any interest in comics, i thought that it was gerard who was the aspiring artist. it seems like they simply can't stay out of the limelight like that disgraceful specamin pete wentz. Feel free to disagree, i just wonder if anyone else agrees that they should disappear and come back rejuvenated

Woooo! Go Mikey!!

I hope his comic gets more publicity than gerard's though coz (even though I'm in love with all of MCR) he is very quiet in interviews and often gets overlooked. I'd like to see if he has more talent than his brother in this area coz the other members of the band get all of the attention (namely Gerard & Frankie) and he deserves a bit more recognition.
