They call this a UK tour. This is bulls**t. Last time I checked Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland were part of the UK. I hope this tour sucks!!! :-(

What?!

This isn't a TOUR.. three dates. =|

What about Scotland and N. Ireland? =|

That sucks.

I'll hopefully be going to the Birmingham one, 'cause it'll be the easiest for me to get to.

not really a tour? 3 dates all in england! surprise surprise

Posted by sharne hawkins | October 14, 2008 1:19 PM | Reply to this

With so few dates annouced it's looking likely they are tided into doing a big Summer show / Festival.

Posted by Tonito Bermudez | October 14, 2008 1:27 PM | Reply to this

with their scottish connections i'd be amazed if they don't do something up here. T in the Park?

Posted by H666 | October 14, 2008 1:33 PM | Reply to this

Yeah but have you noticed the gap of time between london and manchester? They will play other dates mark my words. Other sources online confirm they will be adding dates throughout Europe and other continents soon...

Posted by Thom | October 14, 2008 1:42 PM | Reply to this

I'm going to see them in Dublin on the 18th of April.

Posted by Gorgar | October 14, 2008 2:00 PM | Reply to this

Money on the table time.
The dates to add on will prob be

Saturay night at T In The Park
Friday night Leeds Festival
Sunady Night Reading Festival

They dont want to put too many of their own shows because they want the ACDC name as headliners as main selling points of the festivals

Posted by Tonito Bermudez | October 14, 2008 2:15 PM | Reply to this

sum tour!!! thot they wer supposed 2 be scottish!! not even playing scotland! fuck sake!! they better b plaen download next year then

Posted by daz | October 14, 2008 2:15 PM | Reply to this

Whats going on guy's.

You cant even be bothered to come to Scotland yet you give Germany 7, yes I will repeat that 7 dates???

Posted by Harrison | October 14, 2008 2:16 PM | Reply to this

It's obvious this isn't the main headline tour. This is just for the hard core fans. They sold out 2 nights at Madison Squre Gardens immediately and the first leg of the European tour sold out on the day.

These concerts will be sold out in 2 hours. It's to muster interest in for the bigger shows in the Summer.

Prob play Rock Am Ring, Graspop, Roskilder and the main Euro festivals

They'll then do 10+ date Arena tour Nov 09 and finish the World tour at Download 2010.

I see this pattern all the time. Metallica will do a 10 date Arena tour in Feb. Green Day will start their World tour off on the summer circuit before they release their album.

This is an 18 month World tour there will be more dates.

Posted by Tonito | October 14, 2008 2:30 PM | Reply to this

You'd think that because Angus and Malcolm were born in Glasgow they'd play Scotland. Absolute nobjockeys

Posted by Sean | October 14, 2008 2:39 PM | Reply to this

I read ages ago that they were doing an indoor arena "tour", followed by a Stadium tour in the summer. Y'know, Wembley etc.
At least it seems like for the UK(England) you don't have to be a fan club member to be in with a chance of some tickets.

Posted by mojo | October 14, 2008 2:41 PM | Reply to this

No statement on acdc.com yet, no dates on aloud.com this the first place i've read this and lets be fair kerrang arent usually first with tour dates and 3 dates WOW thats pretty intimate but im sure Reading/Leeds etc. will be up for it in summer. Surprised no Scot or Newcastle dates with the bands connections

Scotland is overlooked, AGAIN.

Why don't we ever get big name 'tours' or dates exclusively up here!?

Posted by Joelio | October 14, 2008 6:31 PM | Reply to this

There's more dates to be announced.

Apparently they are playing the SECC in Glasgow and it will be annoucned soon, so you can all stop crying now.

If the rate of sale of tickets are high and I expect they will they put on additional nights at those venues.

I'm gonna try failing that I'll see them at Leeds Festival anyway

Posted by Tonito | October 15, 2008 9:29 AM | Reply to this

Don't they'll do Reading & leeds. Rumour is Glastonbury for them!

I'm surprised Birmingham's on this tour. It's usually just London and Manchester. ¬_¬ .

They added extra dates to the American leg of the tour. They are also touring over the big open air festival months which could also see them headline. There is nothing stopping them adding dates as they said it was an extencive 18 month world tour.

i know the feel even when u get someone coming to northern ireland or anywhere else other than england its always some1 shit like westlife or boyzone ffs y cant some else come like acdc metallica or even slipknot

Posted by Marucs | October 15, 2008 10:23 PM | Reply to this

I can't believe AC/DC are not coming to Scotland ? :-(

BON SCOTT WILL BE FUCKING TURNING IN HIS GRAVE !!!!!!

Posted by bobo | October 16, 2008 12:42 AM | Reply to this

What are you moaning about. Its obvious by the ammount of people that have said it, that acdc WILL be playing in Scotland at some point. God, give it a rest, haven't you got enough to moan about up there, rather than concentrating on rock legends who have quite badly gone off the boil, what the hells that single. I'll tell you whatit is, it's shit. If theyve got airbourne with them it might be worth a ticket.

Posted by Gregors | October 16, 2008 8:25 AM | Reply to this

Not a hope in hell. That old hippy fart who runs Glastonbury hates anything that's heavy. Besides, do you really want to see them in those sort of surroundings?

Posted by Gorgar | October 16, 2008 11:06 AM | Reply to this

I received an Email for Manchester MEN Arena they'll be selling tickets 2 person. Looks like it's gonna sell quick.

Leeds Reading for sure now

Posted by Tonito | October 16, 2008 11:40 AM | Reply to this

Tickets, priced £40.00, go on sale 10.00am Friday (max two tickets per person).

what gets my back up is they keep adding dates to the American Tour and we get three dates and America at my last count got 45 dates what a bunch of W*****s

Posted by Mark | October 16, 2008 4:00 PM | Reply to this

That's because every major North American city has a 20,000 capacity arena.

They are looking to maximise their earnings on a nightly basis.

Posted by Patrick Bateman | October 16, 2008 4:13 PM | Reply to this

ok, so they added an extra date in London.
I got my tickets.
Tip, don't use the Ticketmaster site, i couldn't get any through that. Use the Ticketfactory site, i got them straight away.

They will definitely be playing Scotland. There's no need to abuse the band members: they haven't set up the tour! But they will be playing Scotland nevertheless. Stay calm but not too calm because they are COMING!!!

Posted by Leon | October 17, 2008 5:24 PM | Reply to this

German ticket company eventim which I bought 2 tickets for there tour has announced . AC/DC will be playing OPEN AIR events in the summer after selling out in 12 mins. So I guess Rock im Park / Rock am Ring. So is this a Stadium Open air Tour for the Summer coming to ? - I do think so.

Why mention this T in the park pish?
Who wants to put up with all that other utter fuckin' shite before AC/DC come on stage. This is a non starter and I hope they haven't even thought about that bullshit. I'm going to Birmingham and Manchester anyway so I couldn't give a fuck!!
