Far announce reunion tour

Far - the highly influential emo rockers, fronted by Jonah Matranga - have announced a series of reunion shows this November.

The band released four albums, including 1996's Tin Cans With Strings To You and 1998's Water & Solutions, before announcing their split in 1999.

Dates are as follows:

NOVEMBER

24 Newport TJs
25 Birmingham Barfly
26 Glasgow King Tut's
28 London ULU

As Kerrang is currently populated with lots and lots of emo fans, this tour is a chance to discover where the genre originated, and additionally, where its best days lie. Far were an excellent band, this should show the third or fourth wave bands exactly how its done.

Superb, first Helmet, then Far, all I need is Quicksand and then I'm truly happy!

They're also playing Manchester on the 27/11. I know this cos I just bought my ticket. Academy 3. Should be good.
