Taking Back Sunday feel New Again

Taking Back Sunday are putting the finishing touches to New Again, their follow-up to 2006's Louder Now.

“I think a lot of people who hear the record will recognize the songwriting has grown a lot, but we haven’t lost any of that fire that a Taking Back Sunday fan loves about the band,” Lazzara told Rolling Stone.

The album will be the first to feature new guitarist Matt Fazzi, who replaced Fred Mascherino earlier this year.

The album is scheduled for release in 2009.

It better be as good as, if not better than their first album. Louder Now was good but nothing compared to Tell All Your Friends, which was quite honestly fucking amazing.

hi there,
i am an a level student at orpington college and my current task is to create an imaginary music magazine containing a front cover, contents page and feature. i have chosen rock as my genre as i love it with a passion and seeing as you are the number 1 selling magazine for this genre it seems right that i should contact you to find information about your target audience etc. it would be much apprieciated if you could send me this information.
thanks in advance
Danielle xx
ps. i also left a message on myspace but i reckoned that i would get a quicker reply here.

I'm also a student at Orpington College, and I've had no luck in trying to get a media pack, or at least the answers to a few questions, if you could also give me a hand or forward me the previous message you sent Danielle I'd be very grateful!
Thanks K!

I'm genuinely really excited about the next TBS album, if it's as good as Where You Want To Be I'll be amazed though. It will definately be weird not to hear Fred singing and playing on the record. But maybe it will give them space to grow as a band?
I don't know.
