Slipknot, The Prodigy and Korn have confirmed appearances at this year's Kerrang!-sponsored Download Festival.
The three-day event, which takes place at Donington Park on June 12, 13 and 14, will also see appearances from Motley Crue, Pendulum, DragonForce and DevilDriver.
Slipknot are set to headline the main stage and Kerrang! caught up with percussionist Shawn 'The Clown' Crahan to get his reaction.
"We're really blessed and honoured," Clown told K!. "This is the kind of thing we've strived for. This is the kind of thing we've worked hard for. This is our lives and we take it very seriously."
Donington Park has special memories for the Iowan nontet. At Download 2004, drummer Joey Jordison filled in for Metallica's drummer Lars Ulrich, who was taken ill en route to the festival.
"My favourite part of the whole evening was when Metallica had this little practice room that's like a sea crate and they were jamming in there," says Clown.
"When Joey was in there playing the songs, I just sat outside and was tripping out. To me, that was better than the entire show because there was this young fan of Metallica getting to drum for one of his favourite bands ever. It was awesome to be able to witness that!"
The Prodigy - who release their fifth studio album, Invaders Must Die on February 23 - will make a return to the festival after providing a barnstorming set at Download 2006.
"We're buzzing to be back," says mainman Liam Howlett. "We'll make sure it kicks off as much as the last show we played there three years ago."
Korn are currently in pre-production with producer Ross Robinson and will debut new material at the festival before entering the studio later this year.
"The last show we played at Download was one of our favourite shows of all time," says frontman Jonathan Davis. "So we can't wait to come back this year!"
DragonForce guitar scientist Herman Li tells Kerrang! that Download is their favourite festival and have planned their hangovers accordingly.
"It's such great news we are playing Download again!" says Li. "We have great memories - and hangovers - of the previous couple of times we played. The fans are always really responsive, up for a party and, well, totally fucking deranged, which suits us fine! We'll be sure to put a bunch of songs in the set to get everyone jumping and sweaty and having a great time because that's certainly what we intend to do, so we'll see you all there!"
