Brighton noise-rockers The Ghost Of A Thousand have announced a deal with Epitaph.
"We signed to Epitaph Records!" state the group today in an online update. "Holy shit this is amazing! We're the first British band to sign to Epi' Europe in the history of awesomeness!"
“It's a huge deal to be a part of a label that has shaped punk rock in such a massive way," adds vocalist Tom Lacey, "and I feel even better about the fact that our new record has a great home.
"We're not resting on our laurels though," he states. "The proper hard work starts now. We've been welcomed in by the staff like a new family member, so we can't let our folks down, we're going to do them proud.”
The rowdy five-piece have been working on the the follow up to 2007’s This Is Where The Fight Begins at the Gröndal studios in Stockholm with producer Pelle Gunnerfeldt (The Hives, Refused).
The new album, New Hopes, New Demonstrations is set for release on June 1.
