Deftones bassist Chi Cheng is still in hospital after an automobile accident in November last year which has left him in a coma.
His family have set up a blog and donation site to help with his medical bills, where fans can read updates on his progress, and "help raise funds for Chi and his medical expenses".
"This is our opportunity to give back to someone who has given us so much joy over the years through music," reads a statement on the site. "Each little bit that we contribute will accumulate to help make a difference in Chi's recovery."
