Welsh rockers Manic Street Preachers have completed work on the follow-up to 2007's Send Away the Tigers.
Journal For Plague Lovers, which was recorded at Rockfield studios in Monmouth, with producer Steve Albini (Nirvana, Iggy And The Stooges Scott Weiland).
In a handwritten note posted on the band's official website bassist Nicky Wire said the band are "excited, nervous, proud and fearful as usual but can't wait for everyone to hear it."
Journal... is scheduled for a mid-May release through Epic Records.
