New Rancid album on the way

Seminal punk rockers Rancid will release their new album, let The Dominoes Fall, on June 1 through Epitaph/Hell-Cat.

The record, which is the band's first studio album in six years, was recorded at George Lucas' Skywalker Sound Studio and was produced by Bad Religion guitarist / Epitaph records head honcho Brett Gurewitz.

"The crew is back doing what we do best," said frontman Tim Armstrong. "We approached every element of this record as a team, and the result is my favourite Rancid record to date."

The first single to be culled from the record, Last One To Die, will premiere on April 7 via a widget available on the band's MySpace profile.
