Fall Out Boy, AFI, Deftones, Funeral For A Friend and The Gaslight Anthem have confirmed their appearances at the Reading and Leeds Festivals 2009 between Friday August 28 and Sunday August 30.
"We all feel honoured to be asked to play Reading and Leeds again," says The Gaslight Anthem frontman Brian Fallon. "This year, I'll definitely remember to bring my wellies!"
AFI are currently putting the finishing touches to their eighth studio album, Crash Love with producer Joe McGrath at Los Angeles' Conway Studios. The festival will mark their first UK shows since 2006.
Also set to play the festival are Gallows (see over), Placebo, The Prodigy, Brand New and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Many more acts will be announced in coming weeks.
