Andrew O’Neill goes industrial

K!-approved comedian Andrew O’Neill will kick off his show Totally Spot-On History Of British Industry tonight at London’s Cockpit Theatre until April 25.

The comedian – who has performed at Download and appeared on Steve Coogan’s rock n’ roll sitcom Saxondale – takes a steam-powered journey through a fake history of Britain’s industrial heritage. If you love coal, this is the show for you.

Highly inventive and extremely funny, Andrew has been a regular face on the UK comedy circuit since his debut in 2002. He is currently working on an adaptation of this and other fake history ideas, and putting together a compilation of his travel writings.

Andrew has supported Amanda Palmer of the Dresden Dolls and counts Watchmen graphic novelist Alan Moore among his fans.

Tickets cost £10 (£8 conc). For more information, call the Box Office on 0207 258 2925 or in person from the Cockpit Theatre, Gateforth Street, London, NW8 8EH.
