Hayley Williams impersonator on Twitter

Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams has slammed an impostor who was using her identity on popular blogging site Twitter.

"I know that most of you saw [twitter.com/hayleyparamore, which has since been taken down] and already got that it wasn't me," wrote Williams on her blog. "However, for the precious few that might've thought it was real... It's not!

"The truth is I've been trying to hold off on the Twitter thing," continued the singer. "I dunno why I resist. It's like another iPhone for me. What is my deal!? I'm sure I'll eventually fall into it and fall in love with it, but for now, I do not have a Twitter. So don't believe it 'til you hear it from me first!"

However, despite her initial reservations, Williams also revealed that she is not adverse to getting a Twitter account in the future.

"I'm sure someone will talk me into it eventually," she said. "Twitter Twatter. I shouldn't dog it... [It's] only a matter of time."

Not that it's boring, but it seems like you guys care too much about Hayley Williams and put up her blog posts every time she makes one. If I want to see these I'd quite happily read them on their website, thanks. Still think Paramore are great though =]

I've seen this happen with Trivium, Dimebag (Yes, even him), and Glen Beton on different Social Networking Sites...
It's fucking annoying that people wanna pretend to be someone famous, just fucking leave them be.
But as a devout metalhead who loves his Sabbath, Maiden, Deicide, Carcass, Cannibal Corpse, Slayer, Pantera, etc... I just have to say, "Why the fuck pretend to be Hayley Williams?? Out of everyone in the world, why her?"

I agree with you Alex, what did Hayley ever do to deserve this? I bet the idiot who did it was jelous of her.
