Alice Cooper to be joined on stage by Barack Obama

Shock rocker Alice Cooper is set to appear on stage later today with US president Barack Obama.

The pair are both on the bill of Arizona State University graduation ceremony at Sun Devil Stadium in Phoenix; the president to deliver a commencement speech and Cooper to perform his hit School's Out.

"Of all the people I've ever shared a stage with, Obama is the biggest rock star," said Alice. "And I'd like to thank him, in advance, for changing the national anthem to School's Out."

Cooper will be backed by with his son Dash's band, Runaway Phoenix. Dash Cooper is due to graduate ASU next year.
