Ash to release 26 singles in 12 months

Following their split from Infectious Records in 2007, Ash are making good on their promise not to release another album by announcing that they are going to release a staggering 26 singles over the next 12 months.

Dubbed the A-Z Singles Series, the Northern Irish rockers will release a single roughly ever two weeks as a digital download, CD and on 7" vinyl from September onwards.

To whet your appetite, new track Return Of White Rabbit is available for free download from their website, www.ash-official.com, now.

This is such awesome news!

ROWR is different, but its a good sort of different. If the new material is anything like this, then I'm very excited!!

Also, its good to see innovative ways of distributing/selling music.

Maybe they're trying to beat Elvis and the Wedding Presents record for the most top 30 singles in 12 months of 12 hits?
