I bought the Wembley DVD and although I've always loved and defended Muse, it actually seemed really rather dull, all lights and no substance, they used to be awesome live, with fantastic charisma and energy and really connected with the crowd, watching the dvd left me feeling very alienated from them. My friends went to the concert and said the same thing. I really hope Muse redisocver themselves with this record, if not for the music's sake, cause thats always good but for everyones sake, because you can have great music but if people can't connect it's hopeless. I hopefully await the return of Muse with the energy, the charisma and the passion that made them so good all those years ago!

although I agree with you, you can't really judge them on that performance, wembley is a huge venue and it is very difficult to stay connected with the crowd in such a large venue

It's been said by tons of bands that the real interaction between crowd and band is at small club like venues.
They are still amazing live, and sometimes it's better when a band just gets their heads down and plays some songs as opposed to talking to the crowd lol it's what they're there for!
