Slipknot’s Clown forced to leave the road

Slipknot percussionist Shawn 'The Clown' Crahan has been forced to leave the band's curret North American tour due to a family emergency.

Crahan was due to join the Iowa metallers on stage in Toronto, Canada this past Friday (May 1), however singer Corey Taylor appologised to fans for The Clown's absence saying that "a very terrible, terrible predicament [is] going on in his family".

I feel really bad for him because its the second he's had to do this :( at least he puts his family before being famous and making money. I really hope it works out for him.

It was Clown who was missing when I saw Slipknot at Graspop and Download a couple of years ago, agsin for personal/family reasons. Seems to be a bad period for him. Best wishes etc.
