Awesome, I'd go if i lived closer.
Are they doing this because of bad sales or what ?

Tickets not shifting then? I may look at doing this, money depending...

this is why week of rock works better in tiny venues. people travel from all over to see bands like alexisonfire & billy talent at places like the barfly because you don't get that sort of intimacy normally, but this is normal size for most of those bands so it's nothing special and people can't be bothered.

I agree with Soph, the shows aren't really anything special, except for Limp Bizkit who could probably play slightly bigger venues.

Look at Dragonforce's upcoming tour for example....max capacity of around 2,000 per venue.

Buckcherry have just announced a tour, so no1 can be arsed, n Lacuna Coil play venues like that all the time.

Finally You Me At Six,...Love the band, but it's a HUGE venue for them to be playing.

Kerrang can't seriously have expected any of the shows, except LB to sell out!?

Stick to Barfly and Underworld type venues - and get bands like FFAF and AOF there again!

I would go if we knew more of the bands even for that GOOD price i don't really know the bands that good! so if it was linkin park, mcr, lostprophets and fall out boy then i might go! (wait then i WOULD have to go!!)

Shame about this. I love 90% of the bands this year, but, living too far away and the huge venues do pose as a problem. I'd die to see Dragonforce and probably Lacuna Coil. I'd rather like to see You Me @ Six too. But, the big venues just make it less fun and they should try downsizing everything. Have fun all who are going though. And, blurgh, Limp Bizkit are that bigger deal? I must have been living under a rock...

so they should be, the tickets are sooo overpriced.

like £30 in total inc, booking shit just to see yma6, urr no.

if you reduced the prices of SINGLE tickets aswell.
youd have one more person going then.
at least.

on all the ticket sites its saying that dragonforce show was cancelled

they seem to be getting kerrang awards shows news before kerrang get them...

just another money-making piece of BS if u ask me....kerrangs week of rock has been getting worse every year....couple years ago we had TBS and MCR n the year after Bullet n Billy Talent now theyv clocked tht the shows myt be more profitable by putting them in bigger venues with mediocre insted of small venue with good bands taking away all the credability that these shows used to have...

lots of bands r seeing sense n putting on their own shows at small venues like TBS at the barfly.

WTF? I'm checking on the site this morning to order Dragonforce tickets and aloud.com said SOLD OUT. So I looked around and other websites are saying 'event cancelled'. Can anybody help me, is the gig sold out or cancelled?
